Friday Sketcher & Stamping for the Weekend

Another great sketck to follow at Friday Sketchers which I have combined with this weeks Stamping for the Weekend which has a quirky theme of "Rock and Roll 60's" with a twist - three songs from that eara to depict ........ I can't even remember one, so of the other two I've gone for A White Shade of Pale by Procoal Harum. To me this conjours up thoughts of white and pastel pink so is the route I have followed.

My main image is a stamp with no name I'm afraid stamped onto pale pink vellum with versamark and detail white embossing powder and the same with the sentiment, Art Impressions E1427 which I always think fits this image so well. Both have been mounted onto white glitter paper and all mounts cut using Cricut storybook. DP is some really old K&Co, flowers are hero and I have added pearls and liquid pearls to finish.

To be honest, it was kinda nice to go out after the hairdresser and have my hair open without worrying about it tangling into bag buckles, zippers, other people, trees, things in the store... You get my drift :D

This is a lovely card Brenda! So delicate! Thanks for commenting on my card! So sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. My best friend lost her Dad on Monday and as you can imagine she is very upset especially with it being Fathers day on Sunday. I am sure your Dad is looking down on you and loving your card! George is doing fine. Just had his third lot of chemo (rocket fuel!!!). He is so full of energy and eating us out of house and home at the moment! One more to go and then he will need to have a scan. Blood tests are looking good so keeping fingers crossed that it will be a success! Thanks for asking! Will keep you posted!

Hi Brenda,
This is a great interpretation of the theme, although your comment about a stamp with no name made me think of another old song "A Horse With No Name" by America - oh no it's stuck in my head now lol!
This is a really gorgeous stamp and it looks amazing embossed on the vellum. A simply beautiful card.
Thanks for joining the SFTW challenge this week.
