Flowers, exciting news (for me anyhow) and a new stamp set to be won

Morning Peeps, have some exciting news to share, going to be a Great Granny in August.......how on earth did that happen as I can't be old enough yet. But as eldest daughter pointed out I did start very young so it was bound to happen before long.

And on top of that my first set of stamps are being released on Hochanda by Chocolate Baroque on Friday 5th March at 1pm (Lesley also has a 9am show with different stamps). Although I can't draw to save my life I do enjoy playing with words and often computer generate for my work. So when Lesley asked if I would like them made into stamps I was chuffed to bits. This is the first set and more in the pipeline 😊

Lesley was really keen to give away a set of my stamps so just head over to Allsorts and join in Ellie's 'Feminine' theme for a chance of winning them, plus a second prize of a pretty Butterfly die from Tonic.

So a couple of sneak peeps with the sentiments in action on two of my samples for the shows, the top one also uses Harlequin Bouquet which is in the same show and below with Crackling Rose, again in the show.

Have a lovely weekend and thanks as always for your visit.

Stroom with a view

Morning Peeps, Kath is our host over at Allsorts this week and her chosen theme is 'Anything Goes with add a Number option'. Our lucky winner will receive a £15 store voucher from WOWVOW.

I also have a few shares of my samples for todays Stamp Addict show on Hochanda TV at 3pm which features some super new stamps.

My card at the top is yet another CB share from a Hochanda show a while back, I thought Stroom Clock fitted the bill perfectly. Lots of Oxide inkiness in the background, stencilled sun rays sentiment and a few worker stamps.

The Stamp Addict show features mainly background stamps which are really versatile..........

Have a good weekend one and all and my thanks as always for your kind visits.

Morning Peeps, a quick post with my mid month shares for We Love Chocolate Baroque and Stamping Sensations challenges. And a brief explanation after Saturday's post as some have asked if things are OK at my end.

I have alluded in recent weeks to my MS having a bit of a hissy fit, it's never a quick fix and inevitably my eyes take another downward turn. It's over a year since they told me I was losing my sight so every time I have a setback a bit more of the optic nerve is damaged and needs rest. Add to that Poppy one of our dogs had life saving surgery a week ago to enable her to breath and needs 24/7 care, she is making progress but it's slow going. The combination meant something had to give for a few weeks.

Tick tock and new YouTube video

Morning Peeps, at Allsorts this week Wendy has chosen 'Masculine' as her theme and the winner will receive a nautical themed stamp set perfect for the guys.

I am taking a bit of a break from craft, we have rather a lot going on at the moment which needs our attention, I will try and catch up on blog visits as and when and have posts scheduled for upcoming challenge work.

My above share is a Chocolate Baroque Hochanda TV sample using Timeless and a 'mop up' oxide background with various CB ephemera worker stamps, sentiment from Words of Inspiration. The rings are some of my greenhouse finds.

Also a couple of shares from my post here  on the Chocolate Baroque DT blog along with a YouTube video of this card with the new Fragile Wings and Ace Card stamp sets.

That's it for today, my thanks as always for your encouragement and hope you have a good weekend.

Another triptych

It's the first Sunday of the month so time for our new challenges at We Love Chocolate Baroque and Stamping Sensations. Our themes for February are 'Flowers, Butterflies and Birds' and 'Colour my World'. Prizes come from Chocolate Baroque and and Bee Crafty.

My card designs seem rather like buses as my above card is the same new die I used in my post yesterday as well as the same new CB stamp further down. The background for the above triptych has Distress Oxide Sprays, I do love how they blend so effortlessly.......and I'm itching to use the new Kitsch Flamingo collection which arrived yesterday so too late to get something made or today. Lots of different Chocolate Baroque stamps, I've added links to them all over at the WLCB challenge blog.

My first Stamping Sensations share has an Oxide an ink background, some subtle background stamps with Bee Crafty BEAUtanical grasses and flowers, large Doodle Art Butterfly focally, sentiments snipped from on of their word sets and some washi tape.

Another outing for the new CB Ace Card which was one of my Hochanda TV makes last month, I masked the border of the stamp as I didn't want the frame,  a Timmy die in the corner and stencilling. I also used the floorboard stamp from the new Fragile Wings set on the red base card.

My final share is just fun with colours and inks for the background, stencilled splats and Bee Crafty Guitar stamped focally.

I really hope you will join in our challenges this month.

Love is in the air

Morning Peeps (yes I've had the correct jab now!), our Tracy is this weeks host and her theme in the run up to Valentines Day is 'Love Is......' This weeks winner will receive a gorgeous Chocolate Baroque stamp, in fact Cracking Rose, one of my favourite CB floral stamps which I have used on my card below. A heads up that Lesley will be on Hochanda on Friday 12th with two shows and loads of inspiration.

I don't tend to make Valentines cards so I've gone with Roses which always have a touch of romance about them. The top is a triptych using a 'must have' die I saw a few weeks ago, I am rather partial to triptych cards and the pretty top of this one really appealed. All stamps are Chocolate Baroque, I've added links to them on the web site on the Allsorts challenge post.

This is the Chocolate Baroque stamp referred to above along with some of Clare's new Valentine papers which you can find in her Etsy store here. The sentiment is one of my own which will be available in rubber very soon!!

As promised here are my other Chocolate Baroque shares from the January Hochanda TV shows. Full details of all the new stamps I used can be found on the post here.

Have a good weekend, my thanks for your visit and kind comments. Stay safe and well and hopefully avoid the snow.
