ABC challenge

Hope you are all keeping warm in this freezing cold weather. It looks lovely but not so good for those of us that need to go to mundane places like work and school.......who have just e.mail parents to say they were closing early again today so guess there must be more snow on the way........ so another trip to make.

I have just the one card to share with you which is for this weeks ABC challenge and the theme 'L for layering' so the perfect opportunity to share one of my sample cards for the Create and Craft programme at 11am on Sunday 10th January when the brand new Polkadoodle Love, Marriage and More CD will be launched.

The designs on this CD are just stunning and I really enjoyed playing with it and creating my sample cards. This card uses papers from the Boundless Love collection. I printed off a second sheet on pink paper to give me some pink flowers which I cut out and decoupaged (hopefully this counts as layering), some punched leaves and pearls added, some black lace, gems and a border punched with Fiskars threading water.

When I first looked at this one Brenda I thought it was stamped! Beautiful papers and flowers. Snow falling like mad here and soooo cold! Keep warm Mrs and drive carefully if you are out.

Hi Brenda

A very elegant flower and swirl and the little pearls you've added really finish it off beautifully. We're totally snowed in here and still getting the odd flurry. More to come tomorrow I think!

Hi Brenda,
I am so lucky not to have to go out in this weather, but I do worry about hubby who has to get to work and back.
Your card is stunning and I really love the silver pearls you have added to the flowers.

Stunning card, Brenda! We have missed the worst of the snow by about ten miles, but Meg's school has been closed. Mine however has been open and I've been brave and used the car too.

Gorgeous card Brenda. Still don't know how you managed to make so many samples!
Thanks too for the heads up on the challenge as I think I'll enter one of mine-most involve layering in some way.
We've got snow here too and although it's been doing it most of the day, it's still warm enough (0 degrees!) for it to go slushy so if it freezes it will be a nightmare.

This card is gorgeous - so elegant- and no stamping either.
Hope you're OK down there. Some snow here but not loads but we couldn't get out today as the lane was frozen and impassable.
Keep warm, safe and dry.

Brenda this is stunning, what super papers. I must admit to just seeing it listed on Polkadoodles site and fell in love with it then, I can't wait till my BTN ones comes but I think I am going to definitely be ordering this new one as I have my brothers wedding invites etc to do and this could be just what I am looking for. Can't wait till sunday to see all your other samples.

PS. No more snow today but very icy and they have said we will be getting more through the night.
