Allsorts week 34

Time for a new challenge at Allsorts and this week Emma has come up with a great sketch for you to follow.

I fully intended going light and bright, but somehow got drawn into warm colours based on a piece of My Minds Eye DP. My main image is Penny Black 3948K Fireworks stamped with versafine sepia and embossed with detail clear onto a background created with Brilliance copper, gold and olive spritzed with water to persuade the colours to merge and then oversprayed with Glimmer Mists Olive and iridescent gold.

The mats are cut with nesties through my new Big Shot Express........it's quick and effortless to use.......and embellished with three roses made from the same DP plus some liquid pearls on the flower stamens.

Beautiful card Brenda and how do you manage to get your fingers to make such small roses! They're fantastic! You asked how the snow was affecting me - personally I love it and although I love the Summer and loads of sunshine the cold weather seems to suit me a whole lot better - I always feel well when it's like this. Heat knocks me out lol. Is it the same for you?

Take care and keep safe yourself.

Such lovely warm colours Brenda! Love the background you created. Are the four paper pieces also stamped? The flower pattern reminds me of a Hero Arts border stamp. Oh, I almost forgot, your roses are fab :)
