A frosty Winters day

Morning Peeps at Allsorts I am your host yet again and it's a simple theme of 'Use a hand stamped or digital image', it's the final theme Kath had chosen before she died in August. Our prize this week is two pretty Bee Crafty border stamps and a second prize from Ruth Hamilton Design of three images of the winners choice. I also have a few of of my samples for todays Oakwood Archer shows at 11am on The Craft Store.

Two cards, the first using Lavinia stamps creating a Winter scene with the Hares, Toadstools with Tree of Hope and Tree of Courage plus some branches and berries. Looking at that moon it looks like a chilly Winters day for those little fellows, not dissimilar to what can be seen from the kitchen window in the the top paddock the last few days. And a matching evenie, I must thank Hilary for getting me into doing this, the cards I have received from her always have the insert and envelope to match and it's encouraged me to do the same.

This one using Ruth's beautiful Sunflowers which I reduced in size and duplicated to crate a border, coloured with pencils and arranged on a die cue panel and coordinating ribbon. Finished with a sentiment from my own set Believe in your Dreams.

My Oakwood shares,

Scarily no stamping other than the sentiment which is from my own Believe in your Dream stamp set. The flowers were made up from Full Bloom dies set cut from a Gelli Plate sheet from which I also drew and cut out a vase, then used jewellery wire twisted to make the stems. And the one below a Christmas wreath built up with the Star stamp set using various blue Versafine Clair colours, Star Edger dies and some chunky glitter accents.

Have a good weekend and as always, thanks so much for your visits.

Amazing cards as always Brenda and so much variety .. love your Lavinia scene and the colouring on your gorgeous RH sunflowers. Your other cards also showcase such a variety of fab techniques too. I love your sentiment set and must ask you for more details of that. You are right about it looking wintry .. after last night’s horrendous winds my husband is out inspecting smashed fence panels!!

Gee Whiz Brenda you've certainly been busy with these gorgeous cards. I love the Lavinia card, the scene is gorgeous, but really every card is so different and beautiful hard to choose a favourite.
Yes the Wheel of Time is the one with Moraine. I am liking it as like these sorts of dramas....it seems to b a cross of Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings. However, I've never read any of the books so struggling to get the gist of the plot and who is who, so I just might have to get the book , well at least the first one as I thing there are many of them. Enjoy your weekend, Kate x

Buon weekend!

This stamp is so beautiful, I can see why you used it again! Love the design in red with the white accents, it looks great! The stripe with the red snowflake is a clever design!

Oh My Goodness what a wonderful post. One visit will not be enough. I love the scene with the hares and the sunflowers are just so cheery. All the other creations are beautiful too and you made me smile with the scary comment but love what you did with it, using the print you made to cut everything ties it all in. I am glad to see your own lovely "Believe In Your Dreams" stamps. Vee xx
