Winter Pheasant

It's the first Sunday of the month so time for our new challenges at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations. Our themes for this month just happen to be the same at both and simply 'Christmas'. Our sponsors at SS are Be Creative and at WLS we have four prizes from one of our new 2022 sponsors.

At We Love Stamping we are excited to have a new name after embarking in a new direction last week. Sometime change is refreshing and is an easy decision when lack of professionalism, bullying and rudeness are the alternatives.

For me the new direction is an indulgence into the world of AALL and Create stamps, a make I have been hankering over for many months and this week I have been losing myself in lots of inkiness creating DT work for the next few week. Yep, afraid that means you are going to be seeing more of their stamps.

For the top one I used their Pheasant set, stamped onto an Oxide background, some of their worker stamps, stencilled Holly and the focal Pheasant stamped again to decoupage and covered with Glossy Accents. It was fun!!

My SS piece uses Lavinia stamps along with the base wreath of leaves from an AALL and Create set, liberal helping of glitter and an envie stamped to match.

What wonderful seasonal cards Brenda! We are constantly surprising pheasants in the hedges on our walks these days and hearing their chook chook sound. Eva still gets excited by the whole thing but has slowed down these days and can't be bothered to give chase!
I am slightly confused but hey, I agree that change can often be very positive and I for one am excited to see you showcasing AALL stamps! We Love Stamping is an excellent name which I imagine we can all relate to!! Vicky x

Well Brenda, these two are right up my street!! Love those pheasants and the splendid stag looks fabulous framed by that wreath and adorning the envelope too. Very nearly flew out the side door thanks to a hen pheasant on Tuesday morning. Having a nice chat and not concentrating as we were riding down the lane when out she flew shouting causing both Symba and Wills to spook!! A quick regroup and on we went!! Hope you are getting the same bright days as we are, love the changing colours of autumn xx
