Morning Peeps...........take note I missed out the good because the weather here today is atrocious, it started raining in the night and it's been throwing it down ever since.
So lots of muddy paw marks this morning and no airing in the paddock for the horses whilst they are mucked out, something they love if it's frosty. Ben is a good boy and stands so quietly outside their stables watching and munching hay, but Heskey is a real fidget and dances constantly and can't want to get back in his stable as he knows there will be some carrots hidden amongst the fresh straw...............just like children really.
It been a long time since I could muck out, so thank heavens for hubby and Anysia. My day holds another acupuncture session which I have been trying as an alternative to osteopathy to try and get my legs a bit more mobile and pain free after their latest hissy fit. I am open to giving anything a try which might work.................within reason that is !!
A share of a card and also the winner of the little offering on my Monday post who is................
Congratulations Marjo, please mail me with your full postal addy.
Now onto my shares for today, for the one at the top I stamped the Inkylicious trees using Archival sepia ink, then brayered the sky with Adirondack dye ink watermelon masking a sun where I wanted the horizon. To create the paths across the fields I removed the roller from the brayer and twisted a rubber band round the roller, just twice, pushed the roller back into the brayer handle and ran it across the area where I wanted the fields using Adirondack lettuce and meadow. Finally I used a piece of town copier paper to act as a mask and added the hedges using the edge of the tree stamp.
Have a good day everyone and as always, thank you so much for popping in, I really do appreciate your visits.
Edited: I have been encouraged by a good friend in Oz to enter this for a brand new challenge Create a Scene and as I love doing just that it seems to make scene, even if I don't really do challenges due to the eyes, much as I enjoy taking part.

This is really beautiful Brenda! The sunset or sunrise looks almost real! Its amazing how beautiful trees can look even without any leaves. We have a twisted corkscrew hazel, and it is only without its leaves that we can see how amazing it is.
Love Pearl x
So beautiful Brenda..
have a lovely afternoon...hugs Vicky xx
Oh wow Brenda, your card is stunning, such beautiful soft colours x
Hi Brenda, stunning card. I love the colors you chose for it. The weather isn't much better over here on the other side of the pond, very cold. But we are seeing a little bit of the sun.
Hope the acupuncture works for you, I have only heard good things about it, so hope it will work for you too!
Hi Brenda, what a lovely peaceful scene you've created here. Lovely colours.
Our weather hasn't been too bad today, not bright, bright but reasonable. Monday and Tuesday were frosty but lovely and sunny.
I've just read your lovely comment on my LOTV card and I think I may have had my foot in my mouth with my comments on your post about RM and the PO. I'm really embarrassed that you think I was offended by anything you said re "jobsworth." I think I probably put it badly. I wasn't offended by your use of the term, it's a general sort of weariness if you like. I know from working with the public that people might think we're being picky or awkward weighing and using the plastic template but we're really not trying to be awkward. Well maybe some people are cos there's always one isn't there. We probably don't like it any more than customers do but we're supposed to do it and it is in everyone's interest.
I really hope you have some success with RM. It's not easy. Today I found a card among my mail, 2 recorded deliveries taken back to the sorting office. I got home after 1.30 and they close at 1pm. So I went online and tried to get them re-delivered. Fine if I want them on Friday. All this because it must have been my usual postie's day off. He would have signed for me and put them in the shed! Never mind it's only a 15 mile round trip.
Take care,
Kat xx
Beautiful card, Brenda. I've seen that rubber band technique demoed and the effect is magic. I'm sorry to hear you are having health problems again and I do hope the acupuncture helps. I've heard that therapeutic massage can be helpful too - have you tried it? BTW, your horses sound delightful. Hope you have a better week. Elizabeth x

Sounds like you are getting more rain than us and we are in our wet season. :-) Our rain is a coming, can feel it in the air. Your card is beautiful and sounds perfect for that new challenge....I imagine that a lot of your cards will fit into their challenges. Take care.
