A walk in the Country

So how's everyone doing today ?

I'm a happy camper this morning, last night my boys in red made it through to the Wembley final and now I can't want for February 26th when Stevie lead the lads out onto the pitch. They all did a great job and played with real belief and conviction and Craig Bellamy, the best 'free' ever, got a well deserved Man of the Match award. Well done boys.

I know, how sad am I that I love footie almost as much as crafting, but I think the brayer's still got the edge. Although I sponged all the colour onto this one which I made recently for Sir Stampalot using a mixture of Art Impression stamps, Stampscapes plus a few others thrown in for good measure, a masked sun and Adirondack dye inks. The fences are part stamped and part hard drawn.

Thought I would enter another one into Create a Scene challenge as it's so my kind of thing.

Have a god Thursday and thank for visiting.

Hi, NEVER apologise for being a footie fan - especially of the Liverpool variety! Great match though I got worried towards the end - hide behind the sofa time (if I could get behind the sofa...)
Re Stamperama, yes 11 at Stamp Addicts stand sounds good to me. (fingers crossed we don't get snow...) Shall I wear a carnation in my button hole?(LOL!)
Oh, and what a gorgeous card (nearly forgot why I'm here...)

Sport seems to have escaped me....... but I make up for it in pencils! The girl next door was (& still is) a footie fan so I know I little as we spent a lot of time together as I was growing up. I definitely understand the passion!!
Love the scene - very evocative with the ethereal sun & I just love those cows in the foreground.

What a nice and beautiful scene. I especially like the leaves and the gras at the edges. I think that gives the scene more dimensionality.

And I also admit that I am a huge football fan - but without any favourite team. I love to watch games and talk about tactics and I even play football with friends, but I can't name a team - blame on me ;-)

Have to admit that about all I understood of the first part of your post was that you're a happy camper...but that's really all I needed to know! Another gorgeous card, I really do need to get my stampscapes and other "scenic" stuff out and have a play! Love your color choices, so pretty.
Hope you're doing well. Sorry I haven't been around..life has taken a turn for the nutty around here. So it's going to be touch a go with catching up with ya'll for a bit.

PS. My mum got hit by that Royal Mail crap, with a tiny, thin, parcel (photos) sent to her in Yeovil from Cambridge no less (Trumpington). It was weighed and measured and all kinds of stuff, she still got overage fees and a handling charge when it arrived. She knows the lady in her local PO, so took it over to her and got it weighed and measured again, and it was fine, there shouldn't have been any extra charges. Stupid isn't it?

I love this card it looks like a picture of my back paddock, especially the wonky fences. Great card and I have 2 football nuts, hubby & son. Congrats on Wembly final, but I bet the boys have worked hard towards this achievment for a long time and deserve to be there!!!
