Lilac blossoms

First things first, on behalf of Louise who I wrote about yesterday, thank you for all your kind comments and also the lovely mails I received from so many of you. I saw Louise yesterday and she is naturally very upset by this whole incident, but I know she will rise above it and share more of her splendid work with us all.

Some of you feel the guilty party should be "named and shamed", however as it was not my work I don't feel that's my call, but I will say her activity in the crafting community is such that this incident makes it doubly appalling and I sincerely hope that the crafters she repeatedly claims to know through her appearances on Create and Craft do not condone her conduct.

Now onto a new challenge and it's Amanda's turn to host Allsorts challenge this week and she has come up with a lovely balanced sketch.

And we are so excited as we have the very talented Elizabeth Allan who designs for Penny Black over in the States as our Guest Designer this month. I was lucky enough to meet Elizabeth earlier this year and spend an afternoon crafting with her, so having her join us for May really is very special for me.

Another easel card........I'm still hooked on them and have used one of the new Sarah Kay stamps my hubby picked up for me at Stampalot recently........is this a hint that I need to spend more on crafting and he thinks I've not enough I wonder......if only. But she is rather cute, just a shame about her name - Fanny's Cuddles. The gate/fence is one of the new Easter collection from Magnolia.......just because I can't bring myself to use Tilda does not mean I don't like the accessories. The tree and butterflies are from Penny Black 30-304 and the cobbles and grass art impression stamps. I used a combination of Copics and Prismacolor to colour and added Liquid Pearls here and there. The DP is Kaiser.

And finally a reminder to put a note in your diaries for 15th May........a very special week coming up at Allsorts with lots of fun and prizes. You won't want to miss out I can assure you.

Morning Brenda,
I am such a bad blogging friend right now, I couldn't believe how many post's I missed from you, just been having a nosey through.
I had to laugh reading this post, poor thing, fancy calling her that.
Loving the colours and design here, that MS punch around the corner is sitting gathering dust here, I can't wait to get back in the swing of things with my blog as soon as I finish my decorating, I don't know if its the same in your house but my Men are not in the least interested what the house looks like...it could be falling down around their ear's and they wouldn't take a blind bit of notice, so it's all down to me

Anyway Brenda I have been nattering on for far to long, have a fab weekend
x

Another stunning card Brenda. I love all those loops! (I'm hoping Mr Postie will bring me a new MS punch today, the Garden Trellis, I ordered it after seeing how beautifully you have used it in lots of your creations).
The image is adorable and looks wonderful in 3D. I love how you have used the beads too.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Brenda

Wow what a stunning card, I love these colours together and the layout is beautiful!

Sorry to read about Louises experience, it is truly awful that someone would stoop so low to do this! On a positive note though I have never been lucky enough to come across Louises blog before and see her amazing creativity and WOW she has some stunners on there. I have now become a follower of her blog. She is lucky to have a supportive friend as you.

I am absolutely deligted I found your blog, your work is truly sensational! Beautiful coloring and such amazing designs.
It's good to read about someone else not doing Tildas as well, I have loads of them from my earlier crafting period and now I JUST CAN'T MAKE MYSELF TO USE THEM. What a waste!

Hi Brenda. Such an adorable card! One of my favourite colour combos. I'm with you on the Tilda thing - the accessories are lovely, but I can't bear the girls without faces! I do love Sarah Kay, though, and she goes perfectly with the gate/fence stamp.

What a wonderful card. Just read the last post and I am really sorry for your friend and do believe the person who stole her work should be named and shamed. Anesha

Hi Brenda, you do seem to find people with problems, and your friend Louise needs to put a copyright mark (watermark) on her photos, and its easy to do with a graphics program.
Fabulous card by the way, such a pretty image and so beautifully coloured to. With love and hugs Shirleyxxxxxx

Hi Brenda,my computer's been out of action for a while so I'm only now catching up. Louise is such a generous person with her talent (just like you) that it's a double shame that someone should do that to her.
Love the card, that MS punch was one of the first of hers that I bought and is still one of my favorites.

Allyson xx
