Allsorts challenge week 8

Good monring everyone, week eight at Allsorts already, this time it's Amandas turn to select a theme and she has selected a SHAPED card. There is also some super candy on offer from Pink Petticoat.

My card is using the very pretty template from Cricut Wild Card. My DP's are Doodlebug and the butterfly image is JudiKins 2696K - Cloth Butterfly which I stamped onto vellum three times and cut out to obtain the graduated wings. I coloured the back of the vellum with Marvy pens, layerd it up with silicone, addded stickles and pearls for the throax and wire for the antenna. Cirles were all cut on the Cuttlebug using nesties.

This is beautiful! I think the scallop card is my favorite on the WC cart. Your butterfly is awesome (and purple is my favorite color)! So I love everything about this card!

Brenda, this is lovely. Wonderful colors. It seems like forever since I've left a comment on your blog ... I just never seem to be 'caught up' these days. Anyway, I always pop in to see what you're up to (even if I don't leave a message) and your posts always make me smile. I really enjoyed the picture of that little hedgie, what a marvelous bit of serendipity! Now I'm off to visit all the other blogs I've neglected. Wishing you well ... Jo xx

Hi, Brenda.. Thought I'd pop over for a visit, as you were kind enough to leave me some comments and especially leaving me the info on that stamp I'm after!! Thank you! Helped me find the stamp.. eventually.. but only to find it has been discontinued. :o( Have posted a 'Want It Now' message on Ebay now, so will see what comes from that.. even if it's only some stamped images!

Loving your blog.. lovely and bright and so friendly! Have just been admiring your drawers. So to speak. (blush)

Sir Stampalot is my local dealer. Janice feeds my addiction regularly! ;o)

Well, thank you again for trying to help me find that stamp. I think since I did find the stamp, even though it was discontinued, I should honour my promise to send you some images. If you email me with your address, I'll get them to you.

Enjoy the Murray-less final tomorrow. (sniff)

Hugs,
Chris xx

Evening Brenda. I meant to have a go at last weeks challenge, the acetate was so appealing, but I think the heat beat me. Oh well!!
Your card this week is so beautiful. I love the shape and that butterfly is just perfect. The vellum works so well. You are such an inspiration.
