To hear the Angels Whisper

It's time for our  new challenges at Stamping Sensations and Penny Black and More where our themes are 'Anything goes with Flowers' and 'Animals'. As always there are wonderful prizes to be won at both.

A simple card for my Penny Black share using Lets Go Wild, a fairly old PB set but as the image are silhouettes one I use quite often as with a nice bold background you need little more, or in this case the addition of a sun, a die cut frame and some bunting which is also in the stamp set.

I've used Bee Crafty's BEAUtanical Peony for this one as they are our sponsors this month, a Distress Ink background built up with some  random background script stamping and circles stamped with the same inks using a lid from an embossing powder pot. I used Distress Markers direct to stamp to build up the colour on the Peony and a sentiment which is also from our sponsors.

And a couple of my Chocolate Baroque shares from my post yesterday on the DT blog using some of the new Christmas stamps released recently and the first is the lovely new Christmas Garden above and below the cute Gnome from the Tomte stamp set. All details can be found over on my post on the DT blog.

Have a good Sunday everyone.

Wonderful cards, Brenda. I especially love the first one with the silhouette - such a dramatic design with the vivid background. The little gnome on your last card is just adorable. Great idea to use the patterned paper for the mat, showing just a little bit of colour. I never think to use patterned paper like this. Thanks for the inspiration. xx

four wonderful cards, Brenda! I love them all. You can't beat an African sunrise and you have captured the colours perfectly here! Takes me back to flying in to Nairobi on the way to Rwanda. Hope you have had a great weekend. I'm enjoying the novelty of being in blogland on a Sunday evening when schools start back tomorrow. Not regretting my decision one bit!

Another wonderful selection of cards Brenda - loving the African one - those silhouette stamps are dramatic against the 'sunrise/set background.
Your floral is amazing - love the shading on the flower, and your background is fabulous - lots of interest, but it does not overwhelm.
Your chocolate baroque cards are stunning - both so very different but exquisitely made.
Blessings

I love this selection Brenda, your sunset is amazing and a wonderful backdrop to the animal silhouettes. What a gorgeous peony that is, my lovely Dad always managed to grow beauties in my childhood garden. Sadly, they have never been a success here. The black and white Christmas card is really striking and has given me an idea for batch making actually and finally, I Love that cute gnome, very sweet!! Hope you are having a better week xx

Brenda, once again its like a fresh spring breeze popping in here, after such a long absence. You are a master crafter and this array of creations are just so beautiful. Adore the African skies card, love the little buntings and the masking technique you have done.

I don't know what is happened... I was sure to have commented yet...
Abbracci, buon weekend!
