Tweet tweet Mozart

Morning Peeps, it's Saturday and time for a new challenge at Allsorts where our host is our Tracy who has chosen the theme of 'From Boys to Men'. This weeks lucky winner will receive two lovely Woodware stamps from Craft Stash.

My starting point here was a circle mask which I inked though with DI's and stamped a few background leaves and a masked sun. The Bird was inked direct to stamp with Distress Markers, cut him out with the matching die placed over the circle and a sentiment, all stamps are Penny Black.

And one more which was a recent sample I made for Stamp Addicts using a Twinchie, Distress sprays and stamping Mozart using Verafine black and then adding three layers of UTEE to achieve a glazed finish, Finally punched a hole in the corner and added a link and piano charm.

Happy weekend all.

That sun in the circle of your card is a great catch eye on your CAS, it makes the cute bird just pop! Fabulous inspiration and love the autumnal colours!!
The second sample is really a clever idea to use scraps!! Wow!! Thanks for sharing, I have Utee but I have never used it to add dimension to plain papers! Love the Mozart theme and the colours you used!! The charm is very appropriate! :)
Hope all is gong well for you! Sorry if I forgot to write in Italian... I have a lot of blogs to comment today, all in English, so I forgot that here I can liberally use my language! :D
Ti abbraccio, abbi un bellissimo fine settimana!

I love that bird. Inking onto a linen card base (at least I assume that is what it is) gives a really lovely effect. I think I will have to try it. Great colours too xx
