A variety of flowers and Confetti in the making

Morning Peeps, apologies for the lack of visits this week, my back gave out on me last weekend with constant sciatica along with a dodgy shoulder, I've been pretty good lately so guess it was about time for an MS relapse. So sitting at my desk and computer has been a no go for more than a few minutes at a time, not ideal when I have Hochanda samples to get out of the door this week.

Saturday and time for a new challenge at Allsorts where our host is Tracy who has chosen the theme of 'CAS' and for the winner we have a pretty floral die and frame set from Sizzix.

I also have a sneak peek of some of what's coming up on tomorrows Stamp Addicts show on Hochanda at 12 noon, it's a Christmas show with several different Poinsettia stamps, plus more. Also my shares from my post today over at the Chocolate Baroque blog, this months Hochanda show was all about Roses so I was in my element.

For my Allsorts DT card I have gone for this lovely Penny Black stamp again, I really do love this one as you might have guessed from it's repeat appearances in various colours. As usual I used Distress Markers direct to stamp with a spritz of water and built up the colour by stamping a few times using my Tonic stamp platform. The sentiment is also Penny Black and to soften the colour I used grey ink and added a little of the magenta coloured Distress Marker and again a spritz of water which gave a nice soft finish with a hint of colour.

I made this one using two of the lovely new Poinsettia stamps in different sizes stamped onto vellum and heat embossed with details clear EP.
Here's my Chocolate Baroque shares from the Hochanda shows which were all about Roses, they are perfect images for making Summer cards........and confetti, I have been dehydrating rose petals on a daily basis to fill little boxes to hand out to guest as they arrive at Church for our eldest Granddaughters wedding.

Full details of how I made them and all the stamps used can be found here................

Thanks as always for your kind visits and words of encouragement.

I'm speechless for the array of wonderful cards that you was able to do despite the pain... and I'm really in love with your Penny Black CAS, WOW!!!! Such amazing stamp and your technique with DI markers and water looks wonderfully with those colours!!! Also the sentiment has a fab pale tone, this card it's a delightful work!
I already enjoyed your CB samples on the CB blog, they are all wonderful! You made a great compilation of roses cards and your ink technique with the spritz of water is really intriguing for me, thanks for sharing an useful tip :)
The new poinsettias stamps look gorgeous on vellum and all the gold makes your card very festive and elegant! Love the frame with the branches and the background, too!

Dear B. Sorry indeed to hear of back sciatica and shoulder all going whoop-ee!! together, something you could do without, it’s funny isn’t it when things travel along smoothly for a while, you almost hold your breath!?

Lovely lovely variety of cards as well as magnificent creations! All ready to inspire us. The other day as I used my PP first time in ages was thinking of you and how skilful you are with them, I see there’s a card below.

Hard to pick a fav but think it might be the poinsettia Card, the background makes them really pop! Thanks for sharing dear B.. rest up watching Le Tour that’s what I’m doing 😆

Not so good to read that the MS was playing up again...and so sweet of you to put some of the time that was left over to comment! I do like to read what you think about my makes.
Myself? I was to bussy cleaning and decluttering the house, so I'm so late commenting... But with a good result for our house :)
Love roses and to see them here in so many ways is a fest for the eyes! Love the velum one; it's so delicate and elegant looking. But the first is my favorite; great colouring! Hugs, Gerrina
