A bit of masking and brayering - again

Good Morning peeps, hope you are all well.

I hope you have been sharing the lovely weather the last few days. It clouded over here yesterday with a bit of rain and we had a frost again last night, but the sky is looking promising this morning so fingers crossed to will be nice again.

I am still having to restrict my time in front of the computer screen and I am beginning to wonder if my eyes will ever go back to where they were before this relapse, or at least to a point where I can focus for any period of time........I know.......patience is a virtue as my Granny was always telling me !

So a few shares, the one above using masking, brayering and sponging with Adirondack dye inks and a scene created with a selection of Stampscape stamps and a larger than life moon........but this is fantasy land !

For this one I masked the edges of the cardstock and shaded with TH ditress ink to create a frame, stamped Hero Arts K5503 Bird Collage and coloured with Copics.

My final share is another with the lovely Penny Black 3949H Poppy and 3195H Kindness. I masked the edges of the silk art card and brayered the bottom corner with a pale Adirondack ink, stamped the sentiment and poppy, coloured with Copics and then masked over the whole centre piece and brayered two of the corners and overstamped in the same colour with a small Art Impression flower stamp.

Good morning Brenda, so lovely to see your creations first thing in the morning, I love them all, but as is the norm for me at the moment, the top one is my fave. Even if it is a fantasy moon the scene is very evocative. Beautiful. Hugs to you as always, hope those eyes sort themselves out soon for you as it seems to me that you are getting a little frustrated now!! and I can't say I blame you. Chin up! as my Gran used to say to me. Heidi xx

Hi Brenda, I love all your beautiful cards but the first one is my fav :-)

It clouded over and we had a shower yesterday afternoon. Jamie is going to a football club today/tomorrow so fingers crossed the weather stays nice for a few more days.

Oh my goodness, all these are stunning but that scenic card is just so lovely! And the moon DID look that big recently when it was closer to earth, so you're just reflecting nature lol!
Lovely to see your cards, now take care of those eyes, they are the only ones you've got!

Good Morning Brenda, you've done it again - fabulous cards, very inspirational. Sorry to hear your eyes are still giving you trouble but you are still producing fabulous projects which I just love. Each card so different from the other. I was so inspired by your 'messing around with inks and glue' that I tried the background technique out for myself and, guess what, my interpretation, 'Hellebores' won a challenge! You can see it on http://silverscrappers.blogspot.com for a few days back. So many thanks for the inspiration:) Elizabeth xx

I do like that fantastic moon through the trees, & the bird is a stamp I keep falling over at the moment; I do love anything to do with birds & butterflies, & of course then there are the flowers - so that has to be my favourite of these. The layering of that wavy edge with the spotty ribbon & then stripes as well is such a joy to behold; I was starting to get goosebumps just looking. You're often in my thoughts these days & I do hope your eyes improve.
Much love & take care

Fabulous cards - your colouring is always amazing. I think I love the birds best of all. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to have eyesight problems - wishing you all the best (and a healthy dose of patience too).

The weather has been so lovely hasn't it. You could almost see the flowers opening before your eyes in the garden, although it's cloudy and damp here today. Hopefully the sunshine will return soon.
Your cards are stunning as always Brenda. I love the first one, those stamps are so striking.
I'm sure you'll get there in the end with your eyes, things just take time. Take care of yourself.

Hi there. We are back from our trip to London and the visit to Sir Stampalot made our day. All of you, so friendly and it was so exiting to see your work, both, in this blog and at the shop were you were making cards and the stunning box. I`ll be recomending Sir Stampalot to all of my friends. Take care,

Beautiful pieces of work Brenda, my favourite is definitely the first simply because I am fascinated by the way you can create a scene like that. I am a busy girl at the minute so not getting around the blogs as often I would like:( but health wise I am doing well for a change. Hope your eyes do improve with time Brenda.
