Allsorts Challenge 31

It's Allsorts time again and this week it is my turn to host the challenge and I would like to see pearls and swirls on your projects which can be just about anything from a card to a cake. The choice is yours and I will be round to see all your entries during the week.

Our sponsors this week are my mates from Sir Stampalot who have provided a fabulous prize for this weeks winner that fits perfectly with my theme........no coincidence really, I did let them in on the theme a week or so back. Thank you Andy and Janice for your continued support.
I have made a box and matching card. The box is made up of four large match boxes covered with K & Co DP, mounted onto a based of mount board and a top of the same which I toned down with Tim Holtz Peeled Paint, then added layers of gold mirri and red card and a top layer which I distressed with the same TH ink. I repeat stamped over the whole piece with Hero Arts H2365 French Scrip and the same TH ink, then repeat stamped round the edges with Hero Arts F5042 Leaf Flourish using Versamark and detail gold embossing powder and again the TH peeled paint. The centre greeting embossed in detail gold is Art Impression J1674.
As I am still in my rose mode I decorated with a mixture of large and small roses made from the same K & Co DP (tutorial here) and added punched leaves and some curly JudiKins ribbon. The card was created in exactly the same way and is basically a replica of the top of the box.

I'm just about speechless Brenda. This card and box are just so fabulous. Absolutely everything about them.

I need to have a word with 'friends and family' to try and get some of those matchboxes. I've only got two so far, lol!

The box is gorgeous Brenda and I am so into these at the mo, I have five waiting for me to decorate in my bedroom as they are the wrong colour now we have decorated, I have the paper, I have the roses and the ideas, now all I need is the time to dedicate to them. This is really nice.

Brenda, what an absolutely gorgeous box. I've said it before, your eye for colour is amazing. I'm still waiting to get my punches (BOO HOO) so I can't make any roses yet. It's so frustrating. Do you realise you're going to be a bit like Delia and cranberries, only it'll be Brenda and an extreme shortage of 6 petalled flower punches in the land.

Stunningly beautiful, & the colour scheme is one of my favourites. And, of course, it shows off your beautiful roses to perfection.

Just trying to have a catch up. I've missed so much. All brilliant work of course but this project is FAB-U-LOUS.
We were in Cambridge over the weekend - a lot colder there than here I must say.
