The first Sunday of the month means new challenges at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations where our themes are CAS as selected by Faith and Romance (which I think I may have selected) with prizes from Lavinia Stamps and AALL and Create
I warned yesterday that AALL and Create Rosy Daze (1251) would be popping up again, this time in red, Frayed Frames (26) cut in white and black, then for the outer frame I used the border dies in the same set and extended to create a larger mat, the hearts from the same set as yesterday and the background stencil Rosy Posy (138).
This one using Lavina's lovely Large Humming and one of the Bees from Bumble and Hum stamped into circles created with a glue pen and Gilding Tilsen. Colouring done with Posca sparkle pens, some gold splatters and word from Bumble Words.
Today is also the day to showcase our Card Chain Challenge exchange cards and for once I've got the date right! This is the one I sent to Dagmar in Poland following the colour palette of Walnut, Lavender and Jade along with Cat options. A gelli plate oval, all stamps are Lavinia and the strooms one of their new stickers. I received a lovely card from my blogging and DT friend Carol.

Wow, a gorgeous selection Brenda. I can't pick a favourite but the posca pen colouring on our bee card looks very effective.
3 beautiful cards, each totally different. Didn't know posca did sparkle pens so best take a look at them:-)
Three more really gorgeous cards and the CAS style of the humming bird one is so effective with those delicate gold circles. The rose looks good in red and the scene in the oval is so pretty - great colour scheme.

The second card really caught my eye, those delicate, gold circles look so good and make such a difference to the design, fabulous colouring too. Of course I love your magical Lavinia scene, lovely colour palette.

That's another great frame die. I still haven't bought any AALL and create dies, but I know that will change eventually. The rose looks just as good in red and I love the stencilled background. Love your humming bird and those gorgeous gold circles. I had to check how you did those. Your CCC card is beautiful too, great use of the colours xx

Brenda, the rose is just as beautiful within this frame. This is a gorgeous card. The gold circles accentuate the hummingbird and bee beautifully. I love the colour mix on the bird too. Your third card has a fabulous use of the colours, it's so very lovely. x

I haven't got the AALL & Create borders but I love the style of these frames too... The rose card is beautiful and the Lavinia card is so stylish with its CAS design. I do wonder how you managed such perfect circles with a glue pen... did you attach it to a compass? x

Another beautiful card with the rose, love the soft stencilling. The gold circles are so effective on the pretty second card. I did wonder how you had done them on the card I received. Your last card has a beautiful scene and I see you used the new stickers, they look great.
