Morning Peeps, at Allsorts this week Liz would like us to use Ribbons and/or Twine. We have a lovely prize of a Sizzix die set from Craft Stash. This coming Friday will see our monthly winners announcement but this month a twist as we will be giving away some extra prizes, our Christmas gift to our loyal entrants.
The background of the above card was a mop up from my spray box (recycled from an Amazon delivery), I always keep a sheet of corrugated in the bottom for this very purpose, after spraying I dab offcuts to pick up the ink and lovely textures. I stamped AALL and Create Leaves onto the piece, foraged some dry foliage from the garden and tied with twine, a button, word and birdie, very quick and easy. I am hopping over to the challenge at the Path of Positivity with this, only a short quote but one I often use on cards for youngsters.
This one uses a Penny Black set called Foliage Fantasy which I fear may well be discontinued as I found nothing in my search. They are two part stamps, the outline and a second one with the veins. I used a white brilliance ink pad for the silhouette image onto black cardstock, then versafine and embossing powders for second stamping of the veins. A strip of vellum with a sentiment from my Moments set, button and twine.

Great use of your mop ups Brenda. Loving the leafy card too - very striking leafiness against the black background. xxx
Your card for the Allsorts challenge is beautiful! The background created from your spray box mop-up is so creative, and the stamped AALL and Create Leaves add a lovely touch. The dry foliage from your garden, tied with twine and a button, completes the design perfectly.
Two great cards rend a, fab background with your mop ups works great with the leafy goodness, and I particularly love your two part stamped leaves with the veins - that is a really lovely and pretty effect xx

I love how you created the first card with the corrugated piece and mopped up the excess ink. It turned out lovely with those delicate leaf images and blended colors. The leaves on your 2nd card are so pretty and the soft colors and details show up beautifully on the black background. Loving the button and twine accents on both cards too!
Beautiful. Wonderful texture, color and foliage. The fiber and button are the perfect finishing touches. Thanks for sharing with us at Path of Positivity. Katrina
Love it that you used a mopped up piece; it looks so good! And vellum for the leaves is a great idea; looks good! Enjoy the weekend!
What a great idea to use a floral stem from your garden, it makes the pretty card extra special! And love the colorful leaves on your second card with the pretty sparkle and great sentiment. The button anf twine finish it off so nicely!
