Lots of layers

Morning everyone, a new challenge at Allsorts where Sarah would like to see 'Lots of layers'. Our prize for this week is a bundle of Christmas items, stamps, DP's and stickers.

I did warn there were more AALL and Create washi tape cards in the pipeline, this one uses Sunflower and Hare (102). There are twelve (at the moment) in the layering collection which come in different widths, I'm not sure how many projects you could make with each roll, but I've made five with this roll as they sell well at the RSPCA shop and theres still plenty left for more.

My trusty Tattered Lace hexagonal dies were used on both of these, sentiments on the first form one of my upcoming sentiment sets and on the other is I believe, an old Penny Black.

I've also got one for the current Snippets Playground, not my norm at all but I've been crafting in a bedroom the last couple of weeks as my craft room is under renovation/redecoration so it's been a matter of what I can create where and stamping's defo not been an option.

Was going to be a straightforward redecoration, until hubby decided to remove the false ceiling to reveal the original Victorian vaulted one, the room's 20' long so really open's it up and makes it much lighter, but also means lots more work ensued.

Lots of snippets, Personal Impressions dies along with an embossed panel using an 8x8 folder and guess what, I remembered to take a photo.

Hope everyone has a good weekend and thanks as always for your visits.

Lovely cards as always. The washi tape makes a beautiful scene with those cute bunnies and hexagonal aperture. The die cut festive card is just up my street and I must look for that mistletoe embossing folder, I feel it's needed in my stash :)

Three wonderful cards Brenda, what a fun washi tape to work with as those bunnies are so sweet! Gorgeous Christmas card too with that pretty shade of green and white. Great idea of your hubby to remove the false ceiling, I can imagine how beautiful the vaulted victorian ceiling looks even if it still needs work. Your craft room is going to look amazing!!

washi tape has come a long way since I used it! These bunnies make the cutest cards and I love the hexagon shape in both designs. The Christmas snippets card is equally lovely too. Have fun in your new expanded craft room once it's finished:)

Abbracci!

The layering Washi intrigues me! Love both your card using it with a hexagon window, which you usually don't see! Love the beautiful Christmas card with all the sparkle and beautiful embossed green background! Sounds like you'll end up with what will seem like a new room for crafting that I'm sure will be worth the wait!

How brilliant are these washi tapes?? I’ve never even really thought about them before but may need to go have a look. The die cut card is also a fab composition and looks really dimensional.
Good luck with the craft room renovation, it sounds really exciting. Never had a dedicated craft room myself, but this past year I have got my craft storage in the dining room well organised and it does mean I have a big table to spread out on 😀

Your use of the Sunflower and Hare layering collection is fantastic, and it's great to hear how well they sell at the RSPCA shop! Despite the crafting challenges, your creativity shines through with the Tattered Lace hexagonal dies and those lovely sentiment sets—I'm sure the renovated craft room will be worth the wait.

All of them fabulous cards and shapes Brenda, Beautiful cards. As for opening up the ceiling, best of luck, lots of work entailed in that, but it must make the room seem as it should? x
