Poppy parade

Morning everyone, a new challenge at Allsorts where Denas's theme is to incorporate stencil's into our work. Prizes come from Oakwood and Highlight Crafts.

Above a Highlight Crafts TV sample using the new MCS Floral Extravaganza and A5 stencil collection, the base tag is AALL and Create, an oxide spray background and stencilling with distress crackle paste.

The image on this is one of several on AALL and Create Crystal Wood (864), Stamped and unusually for me coloured in, some stencilling using Twisting and Turning (157) and words from Power of the Word (754).

I also have a share for the new Rudolph Days challenge, a mixture of Lavinia, AALL and Create and my own seasonal sentiment stamps.

Finally, a date for the rescheduled hospital treatment, it's this coming week the day after our Buckingham Palace trip for eldest Son's investiture, not ideal timing but so pleased it's eventually happening as my body seems to have reached rock bottom.

Which means I'll be MIA much of the week so see you all soon.

Your tag and cards showcase a beautiful blend of techniques and products, from the intricate stenciling with distress crackle paste to the carefully colored image from AALL and Create Crystal Wood. It's wonderful to see your creativity shine through, even amidst the busyness of rescheduled hospital treatments and family events. Wishing you strength and positivity as you navigate through this challenging time.

Ciao Brenda, Wow!!!

I just love the tag and how you carried the stenciling to the vase with a neutral color. It looks fantastic! The stenciled floral extravaganza looks beautiful too. I hope your son's special event goes well and I'm praying for good results from your procedure afterward. Just keep thinking good thoughts and I'll be sending up prayers and sending hugs your way in the meantime. Take good care!

Fabulous cards as always B! I adore your Rudolph Days one - so elegant. Exactly as you will look at the Investiture - elegant. Photos are needed. I owe you an email but meanwhile I hope that this coming week goes really well - both at the Palace, the rather posh bash afterwards - and finally your procedure! Positive thoughts are with you all the way.

Thanks for coming to play with us in April's Rudolph Days Challenge.

Gorgeous creations, do love the first one with that vibrant green stencilling, looks great used on the vase in a more muted tone too. Enjoy your special trip to the palace - im sure it will be a day to remember and good luck at the hospital. I always think as crafters its a shame we can't make new body parts and fix ourselves up:-) Emmax

Hi, B. Your use of stencils always wows me, but I especially like today's samples. The repeating pattern on the vase and background in different colors is a wonderful design idea - I never would have thought to do that! But my fave is your "dance in the rain" masterpiece. those opposite colors and wavy lines bring out the idea of the scent of flowers wafting in the garden. Really lovely! I always forget to use my Lavinia stamps, and they really are conducive to pretty backgrounds like your sweet bird! Thinking of you fondly, and always wishing for miraculous breaks to happen for your health. love, de
