January Blues

Morning everyone, a new Allsorts challenge with Sarah's theme of 'January Blues'. Prizes come from Polkadoodles and Oakwood and will be drawn on 26th January.

An Oxide and crackle paste background, sentiment from my Believe set, flowers from AALL and Create Flower Journey (904) and pot from Containers (401) all stamped onto inked offcuts and cut on the Scan and Cut (after resisting this machine for a year and sending back twice, found it certainly saves on time cutting by hand, ink, stamp, scan and it's cut, perfetta).

Still in London with youngest Son, now out of hospital, then home and into hospital myself for more cervical and occipital nerve blocks and Radiofrequency Ablation, fingers crossed I might be semi functional again.

Would like to enter this for the current challenge at Path of Positivity, they love positive words, so do I!

Beautiful background and great floral focal point on your card Brenda … I don’t know or understand anything about Scan and Cut but it would be good to have something easier/neater than fussy cutting for stamped images. Best wishes for your upcoming procedures and hope they will help you start feeling better soon.

It's a beautiful card, love the colours, the paper pieced flowers and stunning textured background, a lot of wisdom in that sentiment!
Hope your son is feeling better and coming to terms with the diabetes diagnosis- not an easy thing for him to get his head round.
I hope the procedures help you feel better and improve your mobility xx

I am impressed with and loving every single detail on this gorgeous card. Those flowers look amazing and the background is just stunning, but the sentiment won me over immediately. Good advice!
Sending up prayers for a good outcome with your upcoming procedure and hopefully you'll achieve the relief you deserve. Take good care and sending some hugs along for good measure too.

It's a beauty, Brenda and really like the crackle flowers on the background too. I've not been very successful in using the crackle paste, might need to set some time aside to give it another try. I am sure the scan n cut is so useful, been thinking about it some years ago but it's so pricey.
All the best to your son as he learns to manage his newly diagnosed illness. And the best to you as well on your upcoming procedures!

Love the background, the colour mix, the delightful sentiment and gorgeous flowers. Good to hear you can now appreciate the Scan & Cut. I would love one, but with my Silhouette can't justify having a second cutting machine. I hope you and your son are feeling a little? better.
