A touch of romance

Morning Peeps, our new theme at Allsorts has been chosen by Lolo and is ''All about Hearts' just in time for Valentines Day. February come from WOWVOWCraft Stash, AALL and Create and Ruth Hamilton Design, you can find a photo of all those up for grabs on the challenge blog.

I pretty simple card at the top using AALL and Create Fragile Fragments stamped in black Clair and some of the hearts stamped a second time, coloured and decoupaged and words added from Power of the Word, a set I use over and again so much so I keep a bag of the words stamped and cut out ready in different colours. All the 'add on's' were offcuts so I figure I should pop over to the Snippets Playground with this one.

I've made a second one using Ruth's Tulips on a die cut heart, a background using A&C Patches stamped with Versafine Clair Tulip and a sentiment from my Moments stamp set.

Thought I would share the view which I always intend catching on my phone camera but am usually too slow, yesterday I was quick enough. There are four steps up from the conservatory which provides a perfect viewing platform every time they hear us come through the gates. Once they know we are safely into the grounds they rush to the front door to greet us. Right to left, baby Rosa, Holly and Daisy, Poppy the Terrier invariably gets lost in the rush although first through the door when we open it.

Happy weekend all and my thanks as always for your kind visits.

I love that great AALL and Create stamp. The additional hearts bring the card to life, and I am like you, I have a stamp set that I use over and over so much that it never gets put away from my stamp table. I should get a second set of it so if I ever lose one, I have a replacement.

Those tulips are gorgeous, and I love them in the big heart too.

Awe your sweet fur babies are so happy to see you.

Two beautiful romantic cards, Brenda. Great idea to keep several of the words ready to use, they make such a great addition to the first card. And I love how you used Ruth's tulips inside the heart! It's perfect for Valentines Day. I just got some Tulips in a pretty Magenta color, they are so nice to have this time of the year!
The dogs are so cute!!

Abbracci!

Two beautiful cards and a gorgeous photo of your furry friends. The beauty of being short (the terrier) is you can get through all those long legs to get to the front.

Fabulous cards Brenda - love them both but the snippets entry really calls out to me - probably helped by the lovely vibrant pink as well. Super work - as always. And then at the end, the girls stole the show I'm afraid - what a welcoming committee!

Fabulous slim line collage of hearts, Brenda, all formal and romantic in reds and blacks. And the love for tulips background is especially lovely with a double red texture and red frame. The sentiment, though, speaks volumes to me. How true it is that all life's journey remains as stories in our hearts. But I am most smitten by your fur children sneaking a peek for their mom and dad. Look at the individual expressions on each face! The expressiveness of your dear children's eyes is pure, adoration and love! THAT is love.
Wishing you a great "hump day"!
hugs,

Oh my goodness--that picture shows exactly why we doggy people have to have them in our lives! Such a greeting & I can just imagine Poppy rushing through the others to be first! Really beautiful cards, Brenda! The first one is amazing with so much detail but not cluttered like you sometimes see.
