Festive Magic

Morning to you all, a new theme is starting today at Allsorts and Lynn has selected the theme of  'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas'. This week we have two prizes of Car-di-o stamp sets.

This year I took a deviation from all stamped Christmas cards after being tempted by this embossing folder, die and stencil collection from Lisa Horton, they are such clever sets with the layering stencils to build up the colours.

The finished Poinsettia designs were simply layered onto card embossed with a very old Tattered Lace 8x8 folder, the sentiment from my own Magic stamp set available here or Create and Craft, stamped in red Versafine Clair before embossing the background and a little Two Red Robins die.

Hope everyones Christmas preparations are coming along, a bit scary that suddenly we are in December and it's all rather close.

Gorgeous poinsettias and terrific collection of cards. There is a fallidays challenge on splitcoaststampers.com that this totally fits. They are giving away prizes in those challenges too.

Beautiful cards Brenda...I too have fallen in love with Lisa Horton's folders.(when funds allow) Your poinsettias are lovely and I have that background embossing folder too...always a favourite. I think your sentiment is different too instead of the usual greetings. I reckon we could all do with a BIG waft of magic this year.Take care xx

Buona Domenica!

To me poinsettias definitely represent the good traditional Christmas. Sounds like a great set to have on hand to make multiples. Beautiful.

Indeed it is all rather close now, I am on the verge of going into panic mode! I do love those Lisa Horton sets, but haven't actually bought any yet, which is probably a good thing. Your poinsettias look stunning xx
