Winter Robin

Morning Peeps, thank goodness lots of animals make sure we are early risers as I did a final check on the mid month posts at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations which I had scheduled earlier in the week, then it suddenly dawned on me I hadn't done one on my own blog........

So rather hurriedly here are my shares following the Christmas themes, both challenges run until Wednesday 30th November so plenty of time to join in or if you've already done so, add a second of third entry for a chance to win one of the great prizes on offer.

At the top AALL and Create Jolly Elements, Robin and Nuthatch and Seasons onto a splodgy acetate inky background and some stencilling using the same Oxide colours.

My second share uses an oldish Penny Black image, stamped twice to extend the scene, sponged oxides and two small birdies from A&C Pheasant. I added a little purple sparkle to them but not sure it exactly works, but there you go! The sentiment is from one of my own recent Create and Craft TV releases called Christmas Season, this is probably one of my favourites on this set.

Love the layout of the first card and the colouring is so pretty. The colours on the second card are wonderful, I must use some different colours when I do scenes.

Two beautiful cards Brenda, the first one so festive in red and green with the lovely traditional robin and poinsettia stamps. The second, a tranquil winter scene- the atmosphere enhanced by the colours you've used for the sky and reflected in the snow- beautiful sentiment too.

Love the little robin perched on the poinsettia and it works so well with the green background. Loving the sky in your wintery scene, it looks so frosty, especially with the sparkly on the tree branches.

Well remembered Brenda, it is so easy to forget elements when you are juggling so many things. I love your cards especially the second one. Stamping the image twice works really well for your scene, the sky is amazing and the purple sparkly birds are unusual, but great xx

Beautiful work Brenda - your sky is fabulous with the yellow and purple. I am currently woken at 5:20 a.m. with the local birds, so fully appreciate what you are saying...
