Morning Peeps, thank goodness lots of animals make sure we are early risers as I did a final check on the mid month posts at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations which I had scheduled earlier in the week, then it suddenly dawned on me I hadn't done one on my own blog........
So rather hurriedly here are my shares following the Christmas themes, both challenges run until Wednesday 30th November so plenty of time to join in or if you've already done so, add a second of third entry for a chance to win one of the great prizes on offer.
At the top AALL and Create Jolly Elements, Robin and Nuthatch and Seasons onto a splodgy acetate inky background and some stencilling using the same Oxide colours.
My second share uses an oldish Penny Black image, stamped twice to extend the scene, sponged oxides and two small birdies from A&C Pheasant. I added a little purple sparkle to them but not sure it exactly works, but there you go! The sentiment is from one of my own recent Create and Craft TV releases called Christmas Season, this is probably one of my favourites on this set.

Prachtige kaarten Brenda.
The robin card is perfect in every way,he and the poinsettia mean Christmas to me,your scene with the pheasants is another beauty with a wonderful Christmas sentiment
Love the layout of the first card and the colouring is so pretty. The colours on the second card are wonderful, I must use some different colours when I do scenes.
Two pretty festive designs Brenda, always good to see a robin on a Christmas card :)
Just so lovely Brenda, beautiful images and scenes, and your colouring is wonderful, Kate x
Two beautiful cards Brenda, the first one so festive in red and green with the lovely traditional robin and poinsettia stamps. The second, a tranquil winter scene- the atmosphere enhanced by the colours you've used for the sky and reflected in the snow- beautiful sentiment too.
Hai avuto una settimana molto impegnativa cara Brenda, e non è stata sicuramente una delle migliori ma non hai perso un colpo! Sei una roccia, come diciamo in Italia! :)
Totally stunning cards l do like to see robins both cards are beautiful
Both are so beautiful! Love the sponging and the different birds on both and the scene is super! Hugs, Gerrina
Love the little robin perched on the poinsettia and it works so well with the green background. Loving the sky in your wintery scene, it looks so frosty, especially with the sparkly on the tree branches.
beautiful cards Brenda
2 beautiful cards Brenda, I love them both but particularly the gorgeous sky on the Penny Black scene .. very clever stamping it twice to extend the scene.
Both cards are lovely, Brenda, the colours are perfect and the little robins too!
Well remembered Brenda, it is so easy to forget elements when you are juggling so many things. I love your cards especially the second one. Stamping the image twice works really well for your scene, the sky is amazing and the purple sparkly birds are unusual, but great xx
oops same here Brenda but didn't remember till lunchtime---okay not until I saw Avrils blog post! Both beautiful cards love the stamps and the Wintry scene
As are all of the previous ones!
I had to go back, as I always enjoy your makes!
Sorry to hear your procedure was postponed. Hopefully you have had it and are recovering nicely!
Thanks for stopping by, we don't have snow, that was northern Alberta!
Two lovely Christmas cards Brenda
Super cute poinsettia image and I love the colors on the scene card. It is a gorgeous skyline.
WOW! I LOVE your first card with the poinsettias and Robin, lovely colour mix with the stencilling and mix of stamps. Your second card has a beautiful and serene air about it, just lovely Brenda.
All of these are so beautiful. The leaves with text behind is my favorite.
Beautiful work Brenda - your sky is fabulous with the yellow and purple. I am currently woken at 5:20 a.m. with the local birds, so fully appreciate what you are saying...
I adore them both Brenda. I have never seen a card of yours that I haven't adored.
So pretty, I need a good robin stamp. lol. Beautiful inking and colouring on both cards. x
So far behind reading blogs, but I have looked at all your posts & beautiful work. Love these Christmas cards!
