Crafty I loves......

Morning Peeps another new challenge at Allsorts and Lynn's chosen theme is 'I love......' and there's the chance to win a £15 store voucher from Helping Hands Craft

Like most of us our crafting loves change with the mood, seasons and new crafty goodies as they land on our desks, but I retain a love of inkyness, Autumnal colours and anything Nature relates, so Butterflies and Flowers are right up there. My tri-fold creation encompasses all of those using a plethora of Chocolate Baroque stamps and a favourite die which I think is from Studio Light.

Yesterday saw two Chocolate Baroque shows on The Craft Store and the DT tend to share a card or two on their SM platforms, but as I don't do FB, IG or any of them I am sharing a couple today on my blog........which I am reliably informed is not social media. But the larger format suits my visual impairment and I'm not about to make any rash deviations and receive so many lovely comments and visits here.

Some lovely new stamps were released on the shows, including some great number worker stamps, a beautiful image of a rather Hepburn'ish lady and beautiful leaves so perfect for Autumnal creations.

And still on Chocolate Baroque, here are a couple from my post over at the Chocolate Baroque Blog this week.

The top card using four Twinches stamped with the Dragonfly from Sacred and then triple embossed with UTEE. The second using Poinsettia Script stamped onto Vellum coloured with Alcohol Inks including some of the lush new mica and pearlescent ones and the Poinsettia stamped twice more and decoupaged.

Happy weekend all and my thanks for your continued support which is always so appreciated.

Hi Brenda!
Thank you for visiting my blog.
Always equally appreciated. : D

Your cards are very beautiful. I especially love the blue card.
And the black card is really cool.

It is true that when the mood changes
it can be seen on our cards and other creations. Right now it's
after all, the colors of the cough everywhere.

Have a cozy weekend!
Sussie

Fantastic showcase of cards! I love the trifold with all that beautiful backgrounds making the main images pop but still making itself noticed from behind. I have to disagree with your reliable informant Blogging is a form of Social Media, it might not be as "instant" as Instagram or Twitter but just look at how it is used to communicate with like minded people and how many genuine friendships it has led to. Yesterday was none stop so missed all the CB shows (or any other shows for that matter) which was probably a good thing as I might just have overspent a little in the last couple of months. However the stamps you used do look yummy so maybe just maybe in the near future. ........ xoxo

These are all stunning cards Brenda, but I will confess to loving the gorgeous card at the bottom with the lovely Poinsettia script stamped in white on the blue. I bought this stamp when it first came out many years ago and it is still a favourite now. Not tried making a card in blue with it before though.

All your cards are stunning Brenda .. love the pretty autumn colours and layout of your Allsorts card, and the CB cards are all amazing! As someone new to Distress inks I feel inspired by your backgrounds, though I am determined not to fall into a money pit of inks, stains, sprays etc .. we’ll see!!

First off social media is any content that is used to create and share and allow interaction - e.g. blogging! so not sure what they are teaching these days but to me that still stands.

Just love the autumnal card so very beautiful and so much work you've put into it. The "new" lady looks good on your black base and I love the riot of colour particularly on the last card.

Your triple fold card is beautiful and your samples are stunning. My favourite is the blue poinsettia. What a loss if you were not blogging. It definitely is a social medium although I have noticed that a lot of people have abandoned it since I returned after a long absence owing to health. Looking forward to more of your lovely creations. Vee xx
