Away with the Fairies

Morning Peeps so time for a new challenge at Allsorts, this week Lynn would like us to create a landscape or scene. Our prize is a super A4 stamp set from Rare Earth

Comfort zone crafting for me this week and Fairies, I did intend digging out my Stampscapes box to create a scene or two, but inkiness won the day with Lavinia stamps. The background for the card above is the negative 'pull' from an alcohol lift session, I do rather like the hot pinks and randomness, then I just built up the scene with various stamps.

This one is back to Oxides for the background, the focal Fairy has been in my collection for years and joined by some newer stamps to finish the waterside scene.

Thanks as always for your kind visits and words of encouragement.

Two very lovely inky scenes, the pink on the first one is so vibrant - love it. But I also love the colours on the second one and the way you did the verse.

Two gorgeous fairy cards with lovely inky backgrounds. You've reminded me that I have the fairy on a branch stamp too, I must ink it up again, it's quite a statement piece.

Your cards are always such an inspiration when it comes to Lavinia stamps (and others of course too), these are both so beautiful with the pretty colors and fairies. I need to try a water scene with these stamps, have not inked my water lily Lavinia stamps yet and have had them for at least a year now.
Love the sparkles on the wings and such a great way to add the sentiment!

Certainly playing to your strength there! I too enjoy the alcohol lift backgrounds, they can come out totally magical sometimes. Both lovely scenes, Brenda. x

These are very pretty Brenda, such wonderful inky backgrounds as usual. I always smile when you use the dancing trio of fairies on your cards, it reminds me of my Young Farmers days back in the 80's. One of our county group entertainments featured a couple of friends and me dancing to Enya's Orinoco Flow in body stockings with wings attached...and we were sober!! xx

Hi, B! I never thought of using pink tones in the backdrop for a fantasy card before, and your scene makes it come alive using those colors! LOVE both scenes and the use of color in each. That sparkly silvery line in the 2nd card is a genius way of separating "land from water". They are lovey! hugs, de
