A Fairy for a little one and giant strooms

Morning Peeps, it's Saturday and time for a new challenge at Allsorts, our host this week is Ellie who would like to see cards suitable for 'Children and Teenagers', our prize this week is a lovely Woodware stamp from Craft Stash.

The Lavinia Fairy is quite an old one but I always love the shape of her skirt, stamped onto a Pan Pastel background, tree was extended by masking along with Poppies and flowers, all of which are also Lavinia.

I could see some huuuuge strooms around the headlands so took a walk the other day with my camera, a rather wet and soggy one I might add as it's hardly stopped raining the last couple of weeks. It's hard to get an idea of just how big some of them are, but those in the first two photos are much larger than an outstretched hand. We won't be testing the edibility of any of them but isn't Nature wonderful with the beauty it gives.

A second card with children playing using a mixture of stamps from six or seven different companies, Pan Pastels to create the sky and Distress and Versafine Clair inks for the stamping and foreground.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Thank you for the lovely comments about my Mum, I've seen her from the garden as I drop her food shopping off - and she's looking a bit brighter!
I hope you are keeping well.

Hello Brenda, I love both of your cards, and perfect for children, you've used fabulous images and colours and both have gorgeous scenes.
Amazing mushrooms, I never pick any, haven't a clue what would be okay to eat and would likely poison us, Kate x

What a lovely pair of fantasy cards you've made Brenda! The first has a lovely soft magical feel and the second has gorgeous colours and I love the way the children are playing with the deer on the hill while the girl swings alone in the foreground - you could write a story about that one! Those mushrooms are pretty magical themselves. It's a bumper year for them. Vicky x

Love both these cards Brenda, your backgrounds are simply fabulous and enhanced by the lovely contrast from your silhouette stamps xx

Both are so beautiful Brenda. These are such pretty silhouette stamps, I have a similar one with playing children found on ebay a few months back but hadn't had a chance yet to use.
And it's always so fun to find mushrooms! I too stick to store bought ones for eating, but always enjoy seeing them growing in nature. These look gorgeous!
