I got inky at long last!!

Good morning, I hope everyone is safe and well. We are mid way through our current challenge at Allsorts with out Anything Goes theme so I thought I would share another creation with you as............yeah.........I got inky this week!! So for the first time in absolute weeks I have a brand new make, not to everyones taste but it made me happy.

All the stamps are Chocolate Baroque which have featured on recent Hochanda shows, I love the ability to just stamp them randomly and still come out with something that is pleasing to the eye - well my eye anyhow. The Butterfly was stamped onto acetate and as you can see I just used half of it raising it with some gel. Background Distress Oxides, Versafine Clair for the sentiment and circles and Stayzon for the Butterfly.

And a few more photos from my garden wanderings.............

An early self set Digitalis growing in totally the wrong place as they do

Viburnum Opulus Roseum and two yellow posers

Red Hawthorn Pauls Scarlet tree
Ceanothus Concha standard tree

Jasmin Fragrant Evergreen Viburnum

Have a sunny and safe weekend everyone.

Thanks for letting us wander through your garden with you. That IS an early foxglove isn't - I just cannot grow these for some reason. All the flowers looking gorgeous, not to mention your little yellow friends 'looking at you with their noses'! Here's to more crafting! Vicky x

I've seen a lot of that purple-blue flowering tree lately and suspected it may be a form of Ceanothus - it's so beautiful. Thanks for confirming that :-) Love all your 'garden' flowers...

...but oh your inky piece is gorgeous. It looks free flowing and very inky and lots and lots of fun! I've been using those two colours, too, strangely - in fact, I took a photo of the sheets of card I ended up with because they were gorgeous. SO pleased for you but most of all because you ENJOYED it, which is the most important thing. I hope it did you good ;-) Yay for you and long may it continue!

Haven't been good in commeting last week(s)... Got spending more and more time outside enjoying the little space that was 'open' for us here and have been off a few days, what made that a lot of my work pilled up... As always it is great to see your work! And I'm glad you got inky again! Love that bit grungy style and the bright colour! Hugs, Gerrina
