Punky flowers

Morning Peeps, it's Saturday and time for a new challenge at Allsorts where our host is Wendy who would like us to use some 'Ribbon' on your creations. This weeks lucky winner will receive a bundle of assorted ribbons from Crafty Ribbons.

My shares are two Hochanda TV shares from earlier in the year but not blogged so today's challenge seems the perfect time. Ribbon is not something I use on my Chocolate Baroque samples very often as the stamps are so detailed and beautiful it's a shame to detract from them, so these are an exception.

The background of the tri-fold has a mixture of distress inks, texture paste and stencilling and the flowers from Punky Hearts and Punky Flower sets have been stamped, coloured and cut out to add to the frames.

The same Roses here, this time stamped three times onto a stencilled background, coloured in and a sentiment tied with ribbon.

Hope you all have a good weekend and my thanks as always for taking the time to visit.

Love the stencil used 2 ways in your tri fold, a way to get variation but without adding too many different patterns. I have a bit of that unusual ribbon too, keeping it for best as it so delicate and original. Have a great weekend Brenda. x

Two gorgeous cards . You do make such interesting backgrounds for your images. I have a few stencils but never think to get them out as my default marker is to go to my design papers which are mostly freebies from magazines so I always feel the need to use them. Not so logical really as ?I have paid for the stencils to just sit in a draw. Hope your feeling better. My shoulder is starting to ease up now so guess I’m in stage two of it getting better. Hugs Mrs A.

two beautiful cards, Brenda. Love those backgrounds. I have been using stencils more and papers less, especially with distress oxides. Ribbons aren't something I use regularly either...might have to get my thinking cap on for that one, lol

Two beautifull cards, Brenda. Loving all these flowers!

Both are beautiful, but the colours and not to much ribbon on your trifold are my favorite. You're so right the CB-stamps are so detailed that it is hard to use any ribbon with them! Hugs, Gerrina
