Springtime in all it's Glory

Morning Peeps, time for our new Allsorts challenge and this week I am hosting the theme of Spring, a season I am so looking forwarding to and already there are lots of signs it's well on it's way, snowdrops have been out for weeks as have the daffodils and crocuses. We have a very fitting die and embossing set for this weeks winner.

Been one of those weeks, the Internet was down last weekend, that took my desktop computer out with it so I was without one until Tuesday when then new one arrived, was ready to get that set up that evening when my kidney problems kicked in again.......sooooo annoyed as they've been behaving  since they put those things on hold while the other issues were going on, so I'm back on that merry-go-round again and waiting for another CT scan.

Anyhow, my Spring card, they are ones that I always enjoy creating and as I often do I reached for some favourite Penny Black stamps, stamping first a background using Versafine Clair inks and the the main image again using the same inks and repeat stamping the Daffodils and lovely William Wordsworth poem which is a really old PB stamp which I have had for years and comes out year after year.

Do pop over to the challenge blog and see what my team mates have created and also I do hope you will join us this week.

This card is just Spring in abundance Brenda. I love Daffodils, so this card is an absolute joy and the colours are so bright and cheerful. I love using the VersaFine Clair inks. They are without a doubt some of the best inks that I’ve ever used. Take care and have a great weekend. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

Beautiful card Brenda, that PB stamp is one of my favourites. Snowdrops out around here too and it's so nice now the days are getting a bit longer. Hope you feel better soon xx

Beautiful stamps and lovely words - I remember learning that as a song for a singing festival and it means a lot to me. Your card is bright, flowery and perfect for a Spring challenge. It's such a delight after the drab greyness of winter, even if it hasn't been too bad.
Sorry you're having kidney problems again and hope they settle down for you, so you can continue your recovery. As for internet, you have my sympathies. I've just done my third changeover of ISP (yesterday) and it's been one problem after another! You genuinely do feel as if your right hand has been cut off when you use it as much as we do, don't you?
Stay well, Brenda and keep creating these beautiful, cheery works of art.

So beautiful, Brenda, and what a perfect sentiment to go with the daffodils!
I surely hope signs of spring will arrive here soon too, it's been a miserable winter, I don't usually hate any seasons but I am so done with winter! Supposed to be strong winds with tornados possible overnight, so there is *some* sign of spring I suppose. (Not what I am wishing for though!!) Our snow finally melted mostly away today.
Hope you have a good Sunday!

Gorgeous spring-y card Brenda - sorry to hear the kidneys have become unco-operative again - how rude! At least they were reasonable whilst all the other issues were claiming your attention...
Blessings and prayers
