A late blooming Hydrangea

Morning Peeps, it's Saturday so that means it's time for our new challenge at Allsorts and this week I am your host and the theme is 'Thank You'. I though it would be the prefect opportunity to get a few cards ready for after the Christmas festivities. Our sponsor is DigiStamp Boutique and my card at the top used their pretty new Hydrangea image.

I printed the image out twice and cut out one to decoupage after colouring with Spectrum sparkle pens, but before adding the second layer I flicked some watery ink onto the base card and stamped the sentiment which is Penny Black.

For my second card I masked a piece of Bristol vellum cardstock as well as a big sun and used Pan Pastels to add the colour, then a mask and DI's to sponge on the sunrays. Finally using Versafine black I stamped the trees which are from Inkylicious as are the birds, the sentiment which is Penny Black and finally my Labrador which I had made many years ago by an on line company making custom stamps.

Many thanks for popping in today and I hope you will join us at Allsorts this week and also please do pop over to the challenge blog to see what my teamies have made to inspire you.

It's funny, as soon as I saw your scene I was thinking it was your labrador! Having your very own stamps is great, I have a few too although I don't seem to use them much nowadays... Both cards are lovely Brenda, as usual... Have a great weekend. xx
