Getting all sentimental

Good morning to you all, it's time for our new challenge at Allsorts and Helene would like us to get All Sentimental and use a sentiment as the focal element on our work. Our sponsor is A Day for Daisies and Marianne Designs.

I used white 350gsm linen cardstock for the base of this fancy fold which has become a bit of a favourite along with Trimcraft DP's. The left panel had been embossed with Tattered Lace Butterfly Garden folder, lightly inked with DI bundled sage and two Penny Black Butterflies stamped and heat embossed onto vellum. The right panel is stamped with my all time favourite Penny Black Sentiment Dance, Singe, Love.

And this just happens to fit in with the current Butterfly Challenge which is asking for embossing along with the Butterfly, luckily I have both dry and wet embossing on this one.

Whatever you have planned, I hope your weekend is a good one.

I somehow missed this week's promp at Allsorts and your lovely creation, Brenda, so thanks for the reminder.
My husband started his 4th round of chemo yesterday. All is going well so far.
My shoulder is improving slowly, with a lot of exercising on my part and regular treatment and 'torture' from the physiotherapist.

Love these fold cards when you do them, and especially the pretty papers on the sections. That looks tedious but such a lovely effect. The color of the overlay on the gorgeous butterfly looks amazingly like velvet against the sheerness of the vellum. Also very pretty with the subtle stamping behind the butterflies (or perhaps it was the paper?) and I like the way you've framed the inside areas with this deep color as a frame. Very effective. TFS & Hugs.

I was hoping this was a new die! Might have a go at it, but dislike measuring so much. Love what you have done and the verse looks fab on this style of card.
