Poppies and thanks

Morning Peeps, hope you are having a good week and the sun is shining in your parts.

Thanks so much for all your kind comments and wishes, they mean so much especially when I am feeling so under par. I saw the Endodontist specialist last Friday but sadly he was unable to offer me any hope of saving my teeth, he was very honest as he could have just taken my money, done the treatment and in a few weeks said oh well it didn't work.

The bottom line is that my health issues and associated medications have had a severe affect on my teeth which are literally crumbling and in turn creating ongoing infections and pain. Plus the specialist told me I also have a hairline fracture in my bottom jaw bone probably due to what turned out to be a traumatic extraction a couple of weeks ago, so that is further attributing to the pain.

He referred me back to the hospital and over the weekend they put me on another type of antibiotic, that's three sorts in as many weeks but these latest ones do seem to be working as the pain is easing but of course playing havoc with my stomach and diabetes, but you can't have it all can you.

The plan is that they will remove the most affected teeth next week, but so long as the pain eases I am at a point I don't really care what they do. And most of all I want to be pain free when we go on holiday at the end of this month although it might be a liquid diet, but we do have an all inclusive drinks package thrown in so would hate for that to go to waste !

My apologies my blogging is so intermittent, but I'm not really feeling up to spending time at the computer right now plus I promised the family I would try and rest up to help my body cope with the infections and get my diabetes back under control.

A very special card today Brenda and I'm glad to hear that you have a solution to your on-going problem, even if it does mean losing a few teeth. If they can stop the infections you will feel so much better and not have to take awful tablets which can sometimes have worse effects than the ailment itself. I do hope you are all sorted before your holiday and are able to really enjoy yourself, you deserve it.
Take care,
Lorraine

Brenda, so sorry to hear you are having so many challenges at the moment. I hope the antibiotics work this time. Toothpain is trerrible and I know teeth can cause major problems in unexpected places so, although parting with life long friends can be painful, I hope in this instance it actually brings relief. Thinking of you and sending positive thoughts. Enjoy your holiday and the included drinks. I like your attitude LOL. Beautiful card. Take care. Hugz

Oh, Brenda - I am very sad to hear this latest turn of health challenges. A mouth full of pain is the worst! Recently my friend had to have her uppers and lowers pulled due to medications. After The infection was eliminated and all was healed, she quickly adjusted to her new teeth. She smiles more than ever because her new pearly whites are gorgeous! For years she was suffering and the specialists would perform "band-aid" style fixes. Now she is pain-free and loves the look and feel of her teeth. I hope that your outcome is just as successful.

Love the background in your floral masterpiece! xoxo

Oh Brenda, I always peek at your posts but rarely comment. I'm so very sorry to hear about the teeth problems and had been hoping it could be sorted out for you. None of us particularly relishes the thought of dentures but after what you've been through in efforts to save your teeth I guess it's time. I have a schoolfriend who went through total misery and then had dentures - and she's never looked happier or younger!

I love your card!

Hugs
