Tattered Lace Floral wreath and sneak peeks

Morning Peeps, would you believe I am only just able to get back into Blogger after all the computer hacking kerfuffle ten days ago so the system will be down all weekend for what we hope will be a final 'cleansing' of our own and office computers. So very frustrating but really does prove just how reliant we are on technology now.

It's time for our new challenge at Allsorts and Helene would like us to incorporate brads into our work. I think brads are one of those things which we all have loads of and use far too infrequently, so it's a perfect opportunity to put that right. Our sponsors are DigiStamp Boutique and Marianne Designs.

No stamping on my DT card which you can also see over at Tattered Lace, just lots of flowers. I started with a base embossed with one of the new folders from Tattered Lace called Lace Medallion which was part of the second Anniversary releases. I lightly inked the panel with DI Victorian Velvet to make the pattern pop and matted onto as piece of Kraft cardstock.

The flowers were all cut from Tattered Lace Blossoms set and the leaves TL Leaf Branches set, I inked the edges of all the petals, moulded them with a ball tool, layered up and added buttons pearl and gems brads to the center's and placed onto wreath base cut from TL Decorative Circles. Finally I made a silk bow for the top made with the bow maker and cut the TL Dance sentiment from Kraft card.

As I've not been able to post all week I thought I would share another of the cards which appeared over at Tattered Lace this week using one of the lovely new bird dies, this one is called Sun Bird and as you can see lots of lovely inkiness. I wrote the details and products on the TL blog so if you would like to know more it's all here.

I also have a few sneak peeks of what's coming up on Create and Craft on Tuesday when some new products are being launched, here is the first and I will share some more before Tuesday.

Have a lovely weekend everyone and wish me luck as I carry on trying to restore all the lost personal info to my computer - that includes all my mail addy's, photos and data all of which which were lost in the computer restores and so on.

Imhear you about the brads, Brenda. I could not contain myself a few years back to buy lots of them during a closing down sale. I also have lots of eyelets. I just had to have all the colours and by the time I did, the crafting world had already moved on to new trends...
Anyway, well done on using thos lovely brads on your flower card. So happy you also decided to share your grungy card here, since it's absolutely gorgeous. I'm kind of hoping I can get messy this weekend with my new Gelatos that arrived yesterday. I have been warching some YouTube videos last night and got inspired to try something new.
Have a wonderful weekend, and good luck restoring your personal data.
