Cabin by the lake

Morning Peeps, it's a lovely sunny Autumn day here and hope it's the same your way.

A very quick post and not much writing as just had my annual retinal screening which means all blurry for a few hours so just a short explanation for these two cards. Alex and Zoe dropped the boys off before they flew off to Frankfurt for the marathon at the weekend and she left a little note in my craft room saying she loved the scene below and how she would love to have a log cabin there. So that led to the top card as a well done on their race achievements.

Stamps are a mixture of Stampscapes and Sutter and mountains created with a torn paper mask and Pan Pastels.

HOLY CRUMBCAKE!!! You made these yourself...WHAT!!!! I am absolutely blown away Brenda! I can't believe my eyes, these are spectacular, oh my word! These should be hanging on a wall in some hoity toity art gallery with a bunch of pretentious people standing around saying things like "it represents the struggle between man and nature". Well that's how I imagine it, anyway! You are truly an artist Brenda! WOW! big hugs :)

Two more beautiful scenes...but I think I like the log cabin one the best! They are both lovely. the water and rocks scene is great in the same colours yet differing shades...but the log cabin brown just changes up the whole look of the other card. Two more wonderful cards, Brenda!

Saw your wonderful candy but will notenter this time. I have been purging so dutifully, and getting so much out of my room that i have made a pledge of nothing new till i move! Considering that move day is Jan 24, that could take some will power! teehee
