Pan Pastels again

Good morning Peeps, what a week it's been as apart from being back and forth to hospital ahead of next weeks op we have had no phones or internet since Monday lunchtime. Scary really as the world grinds to a halt without the technology we take for granted, so since we eventually got the connections back yesterday afternoon it's been heads down catching up with literally hundreds of mails in the office and not a moment to think about blogland I am afraid so apols to you all.

Onto our challenge at Allsorts this week where Wendy would like to see ribbons used in a different way, rather than just bows which is perfect as your sponsor is Crafty Ribbons.

I have used Pan Pastels and a selection of Lavinia, Inkylicious, Art Impression and Clarity stamps to create a little scene using ribbon threaded through eyelets down the spine of the card.

Happy weekend all.

Your soft combinations of mauves, greys & a touch of warmth with the ochre plus then the black lends such classy elegance to this whole composition. I love seeing what you do with this particular format of card for there's always something rather interesting about the method of threading. Your quote works beautifully with the owl image & is such a lovely description of tranquility & peace of mind. Take good care - the last thing you need right now is technology to go AWOL.
Much love

I can imagine it's been pretty hectic without internet and phones. Seems like we are lost without those nowadays. Remember the days we didn't even have internet?!

I know what you mean about technology!
Honestly, if our power goes out at work, we go home!
Good luck for next week! I'm sure I'll pop in before then!

Your card is beautiful Brenda, I love the scene you created, and a fabulous way to use the ribbon!
Glad your internet and phone are back on Brenda, they became such a necessity! One of our water pipes froze during the arctic weather that we had, it was horrible not having any running water for a few hours. It's hard to imagine a life without any running water and constant electricity.
Hope you have a good weekend!

So pretty, and the looped ribbon looks so cool.
Relieved to hear that your technology is back up and running. There's so much we take for granted in our lives and it's not until they're gone that we realise how dependent we are...
