Early Valentine

Morning all you lovely Peeps, hope everyone had a good weekend.

We have still got dodgy phone lines but at least the Internet is working so I am taking the opportunity to post a couple of cards I made for Ignacio from Nicecrane Designs using some of his new Valentine designs. They really are so pretty and have drawn out the less inky side of me to create something girly for a change.

I also want to say a big thank you to Rachel as I won her candy which is a fabulous voucher for Imagination Crafts, how lucky am I as I love their products. And as I said to her I am hoping that's an omen for later in the week, up till now I have tried to keep it all in a box but over the weekend reality dawned and I am feeling a little pessimistic about what lies ahead of me this week, but I guess what will be will be and not a lot I can do to change that.

So onto my cards, you will find thumbnail links below to the Nicecrane Designes used in these two cards, along with the Spellbinders and Graphic 45 DP's which always lend themselves so well to Ignacios's design's. I made the rose on the top card is made from the same ribbon as the bow and the flowers on the second card were cut on the Cricut.

Have a good week everyone and catch up with you all again soon I hope.

OMGoodness - Although both of these cards are beautiful, I absolutely LOVE the pink one! Pink is my favourite colour and I just love all your die-cuts and bow and flower - a perfect card. The recipient of this one is one lucky person! Wishing you well with medical tests/procedures this week - still sending prayers your way, my friend.

What beautiful cards Brenda, the images are so pretty and the first reminds me of an old photograph from the 20's of my Grandma where the cheeks and eyes were coloured so delicately. You are in my thoughts xx

two stunning cards, Brenda. Very pretty. All the best for this week. I will be thinking of you. I have an unexpected day off from work - burst pipes near asbestos. Hoping it isn't in my classroom, and not sure when it will be sorted either.

I do love the way your ribbon rose really echoes the roses flowing out of her basket & how you used an embossing folder with roses on too. All the textures are delightful & although it's a 'girly' not inky card it's still very 'you.' I particularly like the way you've used the image as a supporting 'actor' in the design of your second card & the striped background fits so well with your elaborate frame conjuring up thoughts of Georgian or Regency decoration. Great that you won a little spending spree - take good care of yourself in the coming days.
Thinking of you
With much love

Your vintage design cards are gorgeous! I like this style so much, and you do it so well. The combination of the rose embossed paper with the pink papers and image is perfect for a valentine's card, and my favorite color for girly designs is blue, so your second card just went straight home with me! I like how you used the die cuts to make the DP show through, lovely sentiment and so beautifully embellished!

I found rose one :D in recent releases from Nicecrane.. and went to buy it but dont think they use PayPal which means it is too hard to buy from Oz..
They dont have logo on site..
I will go back when have time.. think I am getting old and crabby.
Pray for you as another Thursday approaches... feeling "icky" is not fun. Shaz in Oz,.x
