A touch of Vintage and $75 blog hop

Morning Peeps, Tracy is hosting this weeks theme at Allsorts and would like to see Vintage inspired work so right up my street and also it's time to start our Blog Hop at Prickly Pear...............all details further down this post.

Our Allsorts sponsors are FlonzCraft and DigiDarla and I have managed to incorporate a sentiment from the first along with leaves from the second. Some Graphic 45 DP..........yes I persuaded myself to cut into another sheet of it......but I do have a second one intact !

I just love this oh so cute elephant and so did my youngest granddaughter who is a real Ellie fan and wanted it on her Christmas card.

And now for THREE DAYS OF HOPPING........all details here........to show you our new CHA/SPRING Releases!  You will want to hop to each design team member's blog each day and leave a comment and we will select our winners to receive two massive $75 prizes randomly from comments left, so the more love you leave us, the better your chances to win the awesome prize packages!

There are some really lovely stamps and dies in the new release which were showcased at CHA, but along with the other DT members I was lucky to get these to play with a couple of months ago and now I can share some of the sample cards I made for the big trade show and company literature.

Our blog hop will go over three days, today being the first so three days of fun for you to join in with and of course those great prizes up for grabs. Today you should have arrived here from Angela's blog and next move on to Jenn's blog. Tomorrow the route will be different but I will be telling you all about that in another scheduled post tomorrow.

And now for a second DT piece for Allsorts.

When it came to this one it was even harder cutting the DP's as they are from the brand new Couture Collection but I have to say they enable you to make a card so quickly incorporating the toppers and matching DP's which are all in the same 12x12 pad. I did a bit of tearing........my that was tough.......used two of the designs and added some lace and feathers.

Have fun hopping and don't forget to check in again tomorrow for another chance to win one of the fabulous $75 prizes.

Lovely cards Brenda. I especially love the look of your first one (even if I'm not a browns person), and your card with the sweet elephant is adorable. It also gave me some inspiration on how to use my Cuttlebug embossing folder.
Hope your weekend is a good one. I'm hoping to get crafty this weekend.

Wow Brenda you've been busy! There's so much to comment on here that I can't remember it all, but your card are fab as always. I love that rectangular diecut on the first one, and I have the same problems cutting into my papers lol! Maddy x

Hi Brenda, Thanks for popping past and leaving a comment this morning. Some lovely cards on your posting today but the vintage card is my favourite. Your feather embellishments are a perfect match to the papers. I wonder if feathers are making a come back. At least there are nice feather dies to use now if you don't like the real thing. Have a good weekend.

This is a delightful array of cards - the first is delightfully 'you' with your signature card base & the lovely browns. I can see why your granddaughter loves Ellie - besides which your little scene is such a delight & I love the texture on that hill & the way her trunk leads the eye down to the sentiment (isn't that "M" just the same shape as the tip of an elephant's trunk?). The final one is a real beauty with those peacock feather images complemented so well by your real feathers & the gorgeous vintage lace.
Thinking of you muchly
With love
Paula (PEP)
