Snowflakes

A whole week and no post is unheard of I know but things are getting the better of me as no sooner I've had another test done than I get a call summoning me to tell me something else is malfunctioning, as I said to some of my DT girls the other day if I were a horse they would have shot me long since.

Anyhow enough of that as Helene would like to see 'Snowflakes' on our work at Allsorts this week where A Passion for Stamps is our sponsor.

I have combined Penny Black and Lavinia stamps to create a Wintry scene for the above card and below Passion for Stamps/Tonic lattice window with MB candles and snowflakes embossed onto the background.

I have a Christmas candy running at the moment................see the post above.................so Saturday candy will be back in the new year.

Stunning creations as always Brenda. Love how the buck is walking out of the background on the first and the trellis arch on the second is a lovely backdrop to the candles.
I am pleased to see that you are still having a sense of humour amidst the difficult situation you are going through. Thinking of you.
Lots of caring Hugs

Hi Brenda, I'm just trying to catch up after returning from my trip to Sydney last week. Looks like I have been missing quite a few important updates on your health, so I will be working my way backwards to get updated. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear things are apparently not as they should be. Love both of your cards, although the first one is my favourite. Magical indeed. Have a good weekend!

Hello, Brenda, I hope the news will be good for a change. Thinking of you and praying for you. Both cards are beautiful! Love the buck in the first one and love the die-cuts in the second one - so pretty how you added the red glitter.

It doesn't matter about the posts - you're in my thoughts anyway. I hope there can be some remedial treatments put into place soon so that you have better stability of health. As for your cards - again I marvel at how you manage to create such different effects. I love the two sizes of moose in the first & the way the larger one is coming out of the picture. The second is a lovely example of how classy white on white can look. We've been herding sheep this week who seem to think our woodland & lawn are extensions of their grazing - the farmer is trying to sort it but meanwhile we have an interesting view as we open the curtains each morning! Not often you come face to face with a sheep!
Much love from me

beautiful, serene cards, Brenda. I'm so sorry about the "malfunctions". It appears the saying about "getting older" is true. Those of us with chronic, degenerative diseases suffer from it, too, only it seems the diseases multiply and worsen significantly at the same time. My heart is with you, Brenda. hugs, de

Your cards are both gorgeous but my favourite has to be the second one. I love all your cards and I'm sorry I haven't been around much recently to comment but life has been sooooo busy. I've been catching up on your blog posts and I'm sorry to read of your health problems and would like to wish you well for whatever lies ahead and hope and pray that it isn't as serious as you fear

Two amazing cards Brenda, the first one is my personal favorite, I just love the design, the way the deer "walks off" the scene, so clever! Of course the second card is stunning too, those dies are so pretty, and love the white with little bit of red. I am so sorry you had more not so good news Brenda. Hang in there, all will be ok. I know it is sometimes easier said than done, but keep thinking positive! Sending big hugs your way!!

Two great cards. The wildlife scene is wonderful...I too love the way the deer (or maybe it is an elk) is stepping out of the scene.
The colours are so pretty.

The second one...is stunning...love that white on white and the dies are fabulous.

Sorry to hear you are still struggling with your health...I am sure you will be glad when they get one thing sorted and then hopefully moceve on to the next! Maybe all the tests will help them do just that!
