Morning all, Val has selected the theme at Allsorts this time round, it's Embossing dry or wet, or as always theres the A/G option and a super prize of matching embossing folder and stencils from Lisa Horton Crafts. It's also mid way time at Tag-Along (and ATC's) where we are following Pinky's Add a Number theme.
In a crafty clear out I found a pack of A5 frames so used one to create the card above, an inky offcut stamped over with an A&C background stamp and heat embossed with detail white, then two Butterflies which are also A&C stamped onto vellum, again heat embossed, coloured on the reverse and cut out. I am sure Ellie has Butterflies in her garden so adding to her Garden Party 12 and Sweet Stampin' no DP theme.
My tag above uses a retired A&C set, stamped with Versamark onto black card and brushed over with several colours of mica powder. The clocks were stamped again, coloured in the same way and fixed with twine to hang from the word, also A&C.
I seem to have two ATC's both using old A&C stamps, the first onto a Gelli Plate offcut, the flower stamped with Versafine Clair, another number stamped then and a bow tied across. The Nuthatch stamped onto another inky offcut, the little feet come in the same set but looking at it now not too sure they look like feet!

you have made beautiful projects Brenda......gr karin
Your makes are as always beautiful and inspirational impossible to choose a favourite
I really don't know how you manage to turn out so many beautiful creations together Brenda, they are so remarkable. xx
The layered textures in your first card are gorgeous, especially the way the white embossing lifts the inky background and gives the butterflies such a soft, luminous presence. The sunflower and roses piece has wonderful depth too, with the honeycomb peeking through the arch and that unexpected lilac adding a lovely contrast. Your tag and ATCs show such confident use of color and mixed media; the mica on black is striking, and the little nuthatch on the inky offcut has so much charm.
A lovely variety of beautiful creations Brenda, if I had to pick a favourite it would be the first card with the embossed butterflies and such gorgeous colours.
How funny that Fleur's not keen on getting wet- very unusual for a young Lab! At least she doesn't play in the muddy puddles as Marvin is still wont to do!
xx
All beautiful creations, love all the stamp and inky background on the first card. I have the bird set and have neve used the Nuthatch>

You have so much fun art today Brenda. I pulled out my white embossing powder but haven't used it yet, but it does look spectacular on a colorful background. I am ready for some flowers to bloom, so both of your cards are really lovely and just what I like seeing. (Because flowers and butterflies definitely go together.) Great tag and ATC's too. I like the nuthatch image. Happy Valentine's Day to you. hugs-Erika
Beautiful butterflies Brenda, and perfectly showcased embossing. Thank you for the reminder about mica powders...I have lots of pots hidden somewhere, must get them out!! It's not raining here, blue sky too. Hope you are getting the same xx
All of your creations Brenda are so beautiful with lots of inspiring ideas love the butterfles and the backgrounds so beautifully put together x
Both cards are lovely Brenda, but for me, the lovely tag with the shimmery mica powders stands out. As I'm a bird lover, the nuthatch ATC really works for me too! TOP MARKS!
Hugs, Sarn xxx
Oops - I was so entranced by the tag and the nuthatch, that I just realised there's a second ATC with a pretty flower and some numbers on it. Love the use of ribbon on an ATC too. xxx
So many fabulous creations. Your framed picture with the butterflies and the lovely background is stunning, Your sunflower and roses card is a fabulous design, like your tag and ATC's too!
A lovely selection of creations today!
Everything is lovely,
I love the pink flower ATC!
Such beautiful projects in today's post. Each one with great details. It's great to see you at my Garden Party too with the pretty butterfly card. I had lots of butterflies last summer, this year I hope for even more as I have collected Milkweed seeds to grow milkweed which attract Monarch butterflies. And I think the Dahlias I had planted for the first time last year also brought in more butterflies than previous years.
What a wonderful collection of makes today. They are all very different, but equally wonderful. Now you mention it, I see what you mean about the feet! xx
