Morning all, it's mid way inspiration time at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations where we have the themes of Red and Green and Fantasy with prizes from Visible Image and Lavinia Stamps.
Above a lolly stick base, spritzed with a mixture of Dylusions and Oxide sprays, texture paste and a stencil to add snowflakes and Visible Image Christmas Robin stamped, coloured and cut out with the matching die set. I would like to link to the Christmas themes at Sisterhood of Crafters, The Male Room, Creative Artiste and As You Like It challenges.
My SS card above uses Lavinia Rogue, Vine Branch and Wild Poppies, I masked the border, drew in a half frame with a fine liner, masked again to add some stencilling in the background and then stamped the Poppies, leaves and Fairy using Versafine Clair. Linking this one to Beautiful Blossoms and Heartsquest Fantasy (link to Becca's new blog).
This was the amazing sky above the garden cabin just before eight AM yesterday morning, it was frosty with black ice and a low laying mist, as the old saying goes "pink sky at night Shepard's delight, pink sky in the morning Shepard's warning".

The Lavinia card is lovely too. Xxx
beautiful cards Brenda, and a great sky color............gr karin
Lovely projects for mid month inspiration. Thanks for sharing that spectacular sky picture
Love the fabulous lolly stick background with the Robins and beautiful Lavinia stamped scene. We have had a couple of blazing red sunrises but my phone will not take a decent pic for some reason!

ove both! (But the Lavinia one a bit more :) )
Spooky sky! Hugs, Gerrina
Two fabulous projects Brenda, love your pic of the morning sky,
A sweet project with the lolly sticks and robins Brenda, the bright colours are very pretty. The Lavinia card is fabulous- a great choice of stamps and colours - I really like the border (very effective!) and the subtle background stencilling.
Hope Fleur is continuing to do well.

Wow your lollypop stick art is absolutely gorgeous Brenda. So striking in those beautiful colours. Your fairy card is so elegant and special. Love them both. What an amazing colour you captured!!
So beautiful are both your creations Brenda x
Very pretty - love the subtle stripes in the background. Thanks for sharing with us at Beautiful Blossoms :)
Your lolly pick stick creation is stunning, great idea, would make nice Christmas gifts (next year maybe), your second card is beautiful, I like the colors and the stenciling and the stitching are great touches, your sunrise picture is amazing, glad you shared!!
What a super idea to use popsicle sticks to make your background. I really like it, and I may have to steal that idea since I have a bunch of these sticks laying around. The blue is gorgeous and I love your additions. And nice card too. But what a gorgeous sky. That is so Pink. Here we say Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky in morning, Sailor's take warning. It's fun to read that twist. Have a wonderful rest of the week. hugs-Erika
Wow Brenda, your cards are both creative and so pretty. I absolutely love the stamped images on the second and your color choice. Now that's an unusual sky color for sure, but very pretty indeed. Thanks for sharing your lovely card with us at The Beautiful Blossoms Challenge and we look forward to seeing more from you soon.
