Good morning, we have a new challenge at Allsorts and a theme selected by Lynne which is Traditional Christmas colours. We have a gorgeous Tim Holtz Festive Foliage stamp set from Buddly Crafts to be won as well as a voucher for digital downloads.
It happens to be a stamp set I own, it's got four lovely images on it and has worked overtime for this years Christmas cards. Here I used one on the card, another on the envelope. The base card is AALL and Create Heart Marks the Spot (46) cut in dark brown, the top layers inked around the edges and a thin line of Gilding Tilsen applied by running a glue pen around the outside edge. The image is stamped and coloured with Inktense pencils, a little Tilsen added to the leaves and some sparkly red twine wrapped around.
Lots of Christmas challenges about so would like to enter at Krafty Chicks, 12 Months of Christmas, Peace on Earth and The Holly and Ivy Christmas challenges. Also Dragonfly Dreams would like to see shaped cards.
Have a good weekend everyone.

Beautiful Brenda, I love the stamps just so gorgeous. xx
The rich textures and traditional palette create such a warm, nostalgic feel—like stepping into a cozy holiday memory. I love how the gilded edges and sparkly twine elevate the natural beauty of the foliage stamps, and the shaped card adds a lovely touch of whimsy. Both designs feel festive yet elegant, with just the right balance of shimmer and simplicity.
Two beautifully designed festive cards Brenda, fabulous shapes and stamps in those lovely traditional colours. xx
Love both of these festive makes Brenda. Every time I see that arch, I like it more! xxx

It looks like a great stamp set and you've used it beautifully on these two makes. I particularly like the arch card, makes for an unusual Christmas card.

Both are so beautiful with a great traditional Christmas feel. And it's so great to see you at my Garden Party too with the second make. Thank you!
Fabulous cards, like the first one with all your ink blending, the dies and matching envelope, the second one is beautiful, classic with so many special touches!
I love the pink in the first!
The arch shape of the second is fabulous!
These are absolutely gorgeus! The Tim Holtz set is forever on my wish list, but I don't quite know how to embellish the images so I've never bought it. I love the way you've cut the image into a banner shape which gives it plenty of interest.
Great cards. I love the soft inking on the background and edges. Love the touch of glamour from the gilding too xx
Brenda you are the master of inked backgrounds, and these are exquisite! Two fabulous shaped Christmas cards

I'm so glad that I don't have to make any Christmas cards; I have made so many and there are more and more people that don't appreciate all the work you put in... so I don't need not so many as I used to need before...
But I do like to see them and these are beauties! Hugs, Gerrina
