Gentle Whisper

A new month means new challenges at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations. At WLS our theme has been selected by Pinky and is Four Legged Friends and at SS Lynn has chosen Feminine for her theme. We have prizes from Lavinia Stamps and Grafton Crafts.

Unusually for me a CAS design for my SS share, but this is such an elegant PB stamp called Gentle Whisper feel it needs little more than a masked border with soft inking and sentiment which is also PB. Colour was added to the stamp using Ecoline pens and stamping platform stamped 2/3 times to add depth of colour.

My WLS share features Lavinia's Lupin gazing into the sky and a scene built up using Tree StemOpen DandelionLeaf SprayGroup PoppiesSnow Shrub and Fairy Path and a mixture of Clair and Element inks. I'm charing this at Lavinia's Secret Garden challenge.

Finally, my share for the Card Chain Challenge, all stamps Lavinia following the colour palette of Chocolate, Orange and Slate and the optional Rabbit, my card went to Pia in Norway and I received one also with a Rabbit from Robyn in Australia.

I'll leave you with a photo of the gangs new fly protectors, naturally selected by Anysia, why else would horses wear ones with Unicorns? Penelope and Merlin still had theirs on next morning, whereas Heskey had deposited his in the water trough, clearly not masculine enough for him.

Apologies I've not been around visiting too much, rather under the weather, only a couple of days migraine free since mid March and new diabetic injections not agreeing with other meds, so rather ropey. Going into hospital this week for some treatment.

WOW! Stunning cards, beautiful colouring on each and fabulous images too. As for the horses? Well so feminine for the gals, but honestly pink for the boy, of course he let it go. hahaha. Best of luck and I hope all goes well with your hospital admission, Hugs x

A trio of beautifully designed and stamped cards Brenda, 2 magical fairy scenes and lovely CAS floral card.
Love the photo of the horses wearing those very fetching fly protectors...maybe Heskey would have preferred a blue one!
Hope all goes well next week.

Each card is simply beautiful Brenda. Agree the top card needed nothing more than the light touch of ink at the corner.
Great pictures of the horse gang and their new attire.

Sincerely hope you feel better soon and hope the hospital stay isn't too onerous.

Hugs, Sarn xxx

Love the PB card, and agree, that stunning bloom didn't need anything else, lovely Lavinia scenes with the rabbits.
I'm sure a Dinosaur fly protector would have gone down well with Heskey, especially in blue, better luck next time.
Sorry to read you've not been too well, hope all goes well with the hospital. Avril xx

Three beautifully done cards, I love the CAS style on the first, it's been such a long time since I inked up that beautiful stamp and it's so nice to see on your card today. Also loving the beautiful Lavinia scenes, Pia must be have been thrilled to receive that beauty!
Fun new fly protectors for the horses, who could resist the cute unicorn print :)

I don't know how you make all these gorgeous cards and take photos (LOVE seeing the horses with their unicorn protectors) and write blog posts and deal with your medical issues. You're so gifted, Brenda and life is so unfair. Hope the treatments give you some relief.

You've come up with a fabulous collection of cards, despite your migraines. They are all so pretty, but my favourite is the first one - that lovely flower is coloured beautifully and I love the ethereal look you achieved.
Take care of yourself.

Your floral card designs are truly captivating, especially the elegant simplicity of the first one. The Lavinia scenes are beautifully detailed, each one telling a story with its dreamy atmosphere. Love the horses' fly masks—clearly, Heskey has his own fashion standards! Wishing you all the best with your hospital visit.
