Morning Peeps, this is a just because post as are the cards I'm sharing for the Snippets Playground and Rudolph Days, it was so nice to create cards just for the fun of it. Though I would also share one following the current Close to Nature theme at Allsorts as we are at the midway point there.
Miss Di has thrown in the optional them at the Playground of Love is in the Air so I've gone with that using soft lilac colours, AALL and Create Elongated Hearts stencil (156) and Crocus (624) which I've given a coat of crackle glaze. The sentiment is from my own Moments set available here.
Here's my snippets and I was mega frugal as only had one sheet of the lilac so gutted the largest mat after cutting down from the A4 sheet to get the smaller mat for the Crocus and die cut the heart from inside that. Was thinking the optional theme might allow a clandestine game of kiss chase, whose up for it?
It's the first Rudolph Days challenge of the year and above my share. My card was made before Christmas as it was created especially for a blogging friend who is a book lover. It uses Lavinia Wizardry, Luka, Fairy Crook, Arch of Angles plus several mini stamps to build up the scene.
And my Close to Nature card, fields, sky, flora and a Hare along with a Fairy who I know doesn't actually fit into the Nature category so a bit of artistic licence. The background was built up with Pan Pastels then stamping with Josie who is one of my favourite Lavinia Fairies, Celestial Tree, Woodland Hare, Orchard Grass, Snow Shrub and Tree Hives.
Happy weekend all and many thanks for your visits.

All three beautiful cards Brenda. The first very elegant and lovely colours. The second lovely stamps and perfect for a booklover. The third, very pretty with the fairy scenery. Marlies x
These are all so beautiful Brenda! Maybe we can chase Dudley around the treehouse for hugs n kisses 😂xxx
Gorgeous crocus card made with snippets and your own lovely words. KISS CHASE? Whaaaaatt? You mean you want to run amok in the BOYS' playground? Boys are euggghhh (until they're about 18!) LOL!
The book lover's Christmas card is just brilliant. I'm sure it was treasured.
The final fairy card with that lovely scenic background is wonderful.
You have been a busy girl!

Brenda, your cards are absolutely stunning! I love the elegant lilac colors and the creative use of the Elongated Hearts stencil and Crocus. The crackle glaze adds such a beautiful touch. The book lover's Christmas card is so thoughtful and perfect for the recipient. And the fairy scenery on the Close to Nature card is simply magical. You've truly outdone yourself with these creations.
You've been busy with these beautiful cards and it is great to make cards just for the fun of it - such a pleasurable way to spend time. The results bring pleasure to the recipients - what's not to love about that for an activity - win, win I'd say 😊
Your first card is so beautiful, I love all the subtle hearts with the gorgeous crocus and beautiful sentiment. x
Oops, pressed the enter key too soon. I love the book lover card, so many stories in it too. I think the fairy card fits the Nature theme? A beautiful scene. x

Such beautiful cards. I really love the cat one.
Awww Lavinia! How I love her stamps ad the cards you have create with them...wonderful as always Brenda. I do forget about my Pan Pastels but maybe when I have had the 'craftroom blitz' (not ballroom blitz).....sorry if you are too young to remember that song!..I shall get a little more motivated.
Also love the lilac for the crocus ad your layering technique..don't think I have ever tried that in all my years of crafting! It is so soft and pretty. xx
It's always lovely to create cards 'just because you can' and these are beautiful Brenda, a lovely crocus with its promise of spring, and gorgeous Lavinia scenes. xx

And they turned out fabulous!
Love them all! You make such beautiful scenes with Lavinia!
Beautiful cards Brenda. Love the lilac in the first and hate when I am down to one sheet!! I love the book card, so perfect for any book lover and can anyone say for sure there are no fairies at the bottom of our garden!! Love that one!
Lovely cards Brenda. No crocuses in our garden any more, they were a bunny rabbit delicacy several years ago and have never come back!! x
