Hummingbird

Afternoon Peeps, definitely the slowest post in the making ever, despite my imac being repaired it's going at snails pace, if anyone is contemplating upgrading to the new Sequoia don't bother, it was absolutely fine before!! Yesterday it took almost two hours to open and commenting is also a problem for whatever reason, I write them but half seem to disappear and for once I don't think it's Bloggers fault.

I've got my Highlight W11 desktop so think I'm gonna have to spend an hour or two moving everything over, although I've already been told it won't be straightforward and might not accept everything because of incompatibility of the two operating systems.

Above my Card Chain Challenge share for this month which went to my blogging challenge pal Carol, and below the card I received from Hilary a beautiful white on white creation. I veered (terrified of) away from that option and went with the sketch using stamps from Lavinia's Sunbloom Collection.

A very quick make using (meagre) snippets for the Playground, it's one of my inspirational samples for AALL and Create using one of Abs new floral stamps called Petal Pop (1249) and Frayed Frames die (26). The flowers and Butterfly stamped a second time on snippets and decoupaged.

I used pearlescent paint for the flowers and Butterfly which looks rather glary in my photos and being up against time not taken another. The sentiment is from my Believe stamp set.

And here is Hilary's lovely card.

Loving the look of that frayed frame and the humming bird is delightful in beautiful colours. Sorry to hear you are having computer problems still - what a pain.

A lovely post with gorgeous cards. Your hummingbird one is beautiful as is the floral snippets card. The white on white that you received is very pretty.

Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse for choc Digestives and a mug of hot chocolate.xxx

I just spotted your hummingbird card over on Carol's blog and it's quite lovely with all those tiny bees buzzing about the bird. The floral card is quite pretty as well with great colors and a fun cut border. Wishing you the best of luck with your computer - I'm still trying to figure things out on my end too but not having a whole lot of success yet LOL

Love the vibrant colours on your cards! Computer issues, UGH! So frustrating tedious and time consuming, I hope you can get it sorted xxx

Beautiful hummingbird card, love the colouring on the wings. The layout and colouring are super with the beautiful new A&C stamps too. Hope you get your computer issues sorted .. they really are the stuff of nightmares and really bring home how reliant we are on technology nowadays xx

Gosh Brenda- I feel for you- hate it when the computer plays up, it's so frustrating and I take it very personally when mine does it! Hope you can get it sorted soon.
The cards are beautiful, especially the hummingbird one- the colours and stamps are gorgeous.
