Butterfly Meadows

Morning everyone, time for a new challenge at Allsorts where Lynn has chosen the theme of 'Use Yellow'. Prizes come from Craftstash and AALL and Create.

Yellow is a colour I love incorporating into my work, perfect for Spring but equally throughout the year combined with different colours, black and purple in particular.

Above one of the newish dies from AALL and Create, Oxides brayered onto the background, some random text stamped, Butterflies and words from Through the Meadow (449) stamped onto offcuts and cut out. So as there's lots of snippets, Butterflies, words and even the tag itself I'm off over to the Snippets Playground with it.

And I even remembered to take a photo of my snippets......maybe I'll avoid detention this time round.

This is another recent Highlight Crafts sample for Create and Craft using Flower of the Month Daffodil and one of the new stencils from Highlight.

Just For One Day was awesome and we all decided even better that We Will Rock You which we saw in July. And some very exciting news, we have received invitations to attend eldest Son's investiture at Buckingham Palace on 1st May....feel a new outfit coming on!

A brilliant take on the yellow theme - gorgeous tag. Yellow is such a cheerful colour and as you say teams well with so many others as well.

Qui è prevista pioggia molto forte stanotte e domani. Aspetto con impazienza che arrivino le belle giornate! Quest'anno non possiamo certo lamentarci per mancanza di acqua!
Buon weekend!

Two really beautiful creations Brenda, love them both especially the tag with that gorgeous butterfly and cute little mouse, but of course Daffodils are some of my favorites flowers and you showcased them so beautifully on your second piece.
Happy to hear you enjoyed the concert and that surely is exciting news to attend your son's investiture at Buckingham Palace. How amazing and yes, definitely a reason for a new outfit!!

Two beauties. I love the butterfly tag but oh my goodness those daffodils are brilliant. Yellow is not a colour I use much but having seen these two I must get my act together. Hugs Mrs A.

Love your bright citrus butterfly tag, great mix of colours. You know I'm a glutton for daffodils! I love the tag card and those fabulous daffodils. So pretty with the ribbon. OH! How wonderful a visit to the Palace. You must be thrilled to bits, and a new posh dress too. Brilliant :) x

The tag is so lovely with the black highlights and that cute mouse. Your screen card is just stunning - I must try and make more fold out cards, yours are always so inspiring.
