Poppies and Bunnies at play

Morning Peeps, Saturday morning and time for our new challenges at Allsorts.

At Allsorts Wendy is this weeks host with her theme of 'Anything Guest with the option of Red Flowers'. We have a beautiful paper pad and coordinating stamps from Craft Stash for this weeks lucky winner.

I was recently invited to be a Brand Ambassador for Two Red Robins, the new range from Stephanie Weightman and Highlight Crafts. Having been one of her Tattered Lace DT's for several years I always loved the Charisma range and Two Red Robins products are rather like the Rolls Royce version of those.

So today I have a couple of shares using the lovely artwork and intricate dies which unlike so many leave no white edges. Above I have used Scarlet Petal, Owlfred, A Fluffle Set and Mr Nosey, all dies are available in bundles and also individually, fully coloured artwork (reflection sheets) are available to download from the website, most free of charge to cut with your dies and there are also USB sticks for some ranges. There are also lovely backing sheets, the above is a vellum one which come in packs but are also available as downloads to print yourself.

This ones uses Phoenix aka Reynard who's not the most popular chap here at the moment, the other night he dug his way into Anysia's chicken house and cleared out all but one of the eight hens she hand reared from chicks. As she put it, the end to an already rotten week.

For the wall hanging I used the Poppies again, plus Sycamore and Soft Sprigs, arranged onto one of the background scenes and a little birdies from In the Distance.

A second share using a Stamps by Me image which was a Christmas gift, I stamped the focal image to the left of the card and added some worker stamps around the bloom, then a sentiment from my Believe in your Dreams and a little birdie from A&C Wire Birds.

Margo continues to do well and your messages have been greatly appreciated by us all. On a personal note I am a bit under the weather, I've have Diverticulitis for years but it's been controlled, but a new diagnosis of Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis has exacerbated everything including my MS. I'm awaiting further tests to see what's to be done, so please forgive if I am not visiting as often as I might like.

A love trio of sumptuousness here Brenda. I could look at the wall hanging for ages. It makes me want to go for a walk in it!!

Your third project is very striking in red and black and deliciously CAS !

Glad little Margo continues to thrive. Sending lots of well wishes your way. Hope you feel better soon too.

Fabulous cards Brenda, love all your gorgeous poppy images and wonderful scenes you have created. What a shame about Anysia’s hens, very upsetting. So glad that Margo is improving and I do hope you are soon feeling much better.

These scenes are fabulous Brenda, so detailed and interesting depiction of nature. Your 3rd share has a fab modern look even though that gorgeous flower stamp could be quite traditional .. love it! So glad Margo is improving but very sad news about the chicks. Hope you manage to get further help at the hospital sooner rather than later.

Davvero fantastica!!!

The bunnies are adorable... These products are new to me and they are perfect scene builders! Your poppy card is stunning though and, to me, it has a Japanese painting style in its simplicity.
So sorry you and your family are going through difficult times. Do these things actually come in 3s?! Take care of yourself Brenda. x

What stunning cards Brenda. I must confess to buying all of the Two Red Robins Die, USB's and the paper pack and so have not used them. Something I hope to remedy soon. So glad to hear that Margo is improving and hoping that you feel better soon. I have Diverticular Disease myself, I'm glad to say that it does not flare up that often but understand a little of what you must be going through.

I'm sorry to hear about Anysia's hens, that is just awful! I do remember similar occurrences from when I was a child and we used to have hens and rabbits.

Your cards are all so beautiful! Great work with the Two Red Robin products, they are new to me as well. I did have to check for those cute rabbits and saved them on my computer, although I'm not happy with my printer for colored images. Maybe I can have them printed at a printing company for a better quality of print.
Your last card is fabulous too, really loving the red, black and white and how you kept the focus in one area!

Good news that Margo's health is continuing to improve and hoping you too are feeling better soon!

Wow! Stunning cards today Brenda- I love poppies so these were going to appeal from the start. The images cut with the 'no white edge' dies look fantastic- not a fan of the white edges. Sorry that the bloomin' fox got the chickens- nature is very cruel sometimes... and foxes are so bold now, we get them in our gardens a lot, driving all the dogs bonkers in the night and making then bark like crazy!
Glad little Margo is continuing to improve.
Look after yourself, hope the medics can get your symptoms and pain under control soon.
xx

Gorgeous cards Brenda and it's no surprise that your red flowers are poppies. How cruel that Anysia's hen house had an unwanted visitor, foxes really are cunning devils. Sorry to read that you are suffering more Brenda and hope that with treatment you might soon be feeling better xx

Love your cards, delicate and whimsical scenes. I feel for you, digestive tract issues are not fun, I have them too, as my arthritises have migrated there. It's hard work maintaining a tolerable existence and then slightest error/deviation can set me off. And if your gut feels bad, so do you. Prayers you get some relief soon. xoxo
