Blooms a Bunny and trip to Venizia

Morning Peeps, it's the first Sunday of the month which means the start of our new challenges at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations where our themes are 'Anything Goes with a CAS option' and 'Choose the theme and stamp it'. Stix2 have kindly donated prizes to both.  And as it's 5th I also have my share for this months River of Creativity challenge where our theme is 'Celebrate'.

My card at the top which is my WLS share using an AALL and Create stamp which like lots of theirs are biggies, this set is an A4 one with just two beautiful images. An Oxide background, the image stamped, the colour bleached out from the bottles, the three flowers stamped a second time onto some card coloured with Oxide spray Kitsch Flamingo and paper pieced. The number is from another set stamped onto an offcut  to carry the colour and a sentiment from yet another set and some stencilled spots and dots.

I don't really know if this qualifies for CAS but it is by my usual inky standards. It's another from AALL and Create, I just loved this Bunny and had to have it, there is also a Fox in the set similarly surrounded by flowers. I stamped the image, coloured in with pencils and added a few splats with watered down DI around it.

I also have a little pillow box which is one of my samples for Friday's Stampendous shows for Oakwood Archer on Hochanda/The Craft Store. Stamped with Stampendous stamps in Versafine Clair,  coloured with sparkle pens, some ribbon and a tag using one of the birdies and sentiment in the set.

Moving on to our Celebrations theme at River of Creativity, I decided to buck the current seasonal trend and head off to Venice to the annual Carnival which takes place in February, it really is a wonderful spectacular. The challenge is taking a break but keep your eyes open for our return.

A Carnival mask from Hobbycraft, painted with metallic paint then really just lots of playing with beads and gems, ribbon and feathers.

Below is another of my samples for the Craft Store shows which I am thinking just might fit into the CAS category. The image from Stampendous Daisy Bee set stamped onto acetate coloured with Alcohol Inks including some metallics which are also in the shows.

I do hope you will find time in the busy December schedule to join us this month and look forward to visiting all your entries.

So much to see. I love the bunny and counts as CAS for me. I also love the last card with the white embossing, such a fresh design.

I have studiously avoided looking at AALL stamps lest I succumb... but the bunny? I NEED that bunny, it is totally "me". I love how you coloured him on the card but he looks fab just simply stamped in black.
Lovely range of makes today Brenda. x

Amazing cards and pillow box, and amazing altered art with the carnival mask … I visited Venice once and have a very small carnival mask hanging on my wall .. would love to go back. All your makes are gorgeous but the top 1 is my favourite … May I ask how you bleached the colour out of the bottles?.

One Woman's CAS is another Womans fussy there are no hard and fast rules, just the ones each of the CAS challenges apply. I love your rabbit in flowers ink splats and all and at the end of the day all that matters is that someone loves it.

Your mask makes me very happy it is such a departure for you and that you even thought of doing it is terrific. I just love it when someone steps outside their comfort zone and surprises everyone including themselves. Will talk more about ROC when I've got my head round it. xoxo

So diverse again! I enjoy to come here so much and get inspired every time! Favorite is the bunny and I think it is CAS enough (I don't like those were what's left on it is so small that the card is so dull...). Enjoy the Sundat!
