New Poppy stamp, more flowers and some steampunk

Morning Peeps, it's mid way inspiration time at We Love Chocolate Baroque and Stamping Sensations challenges where our themes are 'Beautiful Blooms' and 'For a Lady. Lots of feminine creations at SS but all rather slow at WLCB, not sure where all those floral stamps have gone!!

I also have a post today over at the Chocolate Baroque blog here, details of my work are listed there but also sharing my cards in this post and here is the first which was my favourite from those I made for that TV show on the Craft Store. Steampunk is always a bit of a nemesis with me, but I found this one relatively easy, probably because flowers were involved, even if they do have wings!

My Poppy card top of this post is from last weeks Craft Store TV shows uses the brand new Chocolate Baroque Polygon Poppies which I absolutely love, not just the Poppies themselves but all the extra worker stamps like the numbers...........numbers make me so happy on inky cards........ the little hexagons, extra Poppies and text. It's an Oxide background and everything simply stamped in Versafine black.

For this one I used Chocolate Baroque Luv Shack and Rose Perfumery , Pan Pastels for the background and some added TL Ivy leaves around the frame with the Roses.

My SS creation uses Crafty Individuals Spring Flower Garden, a stencilled background and a Kraft die cut frame along with a bow of lace and twine.

And here are my last two from my CB post here.

Hope you have some of this lovely sunshine we are enjoying this weekend.

Great Minds, I used that verse on your 2nd card this week as well. It is timeless isn't it. That Poppy stamp is about to send me off either to the Craft Store to CB's own site it is fabulous and i quite like the flying tulip as well. Of course they are all gorgeous cards from the backgrounds up. but what else do we expect from you xoxo

That scene with the Luv shack and these beautifully fussy cut roses... wow! I do like both the Poppy and Steampunk cards, edgy but not too grunge and the colours of the Mermaid card. Fabulous collection, Brenda!

Che dire.... c'è un'esplosione di energia in questo post!! :) Quanti diversi stili, timbri e designs, e con molti particolari interessanti!!! Sei sempre così eclettica! Tante brillanti ispirazioni, come al solito! Grazie!

You have been super busy - I couldn't believe all the lovely variety as I scrolled down. The poppies obviously stood out to me as did the gorgeous colours you used - I must try not to always use green for leaves! The other stand out for me was the flower frame with the die cut leaves so very pretty.

You certainly have a varied and fabulous collection of floral stamps Brenda, I love all the cards you have created here. Steampunk is one of my favourite styles but I have trouble creating in that style myself - perhaps I'll stick to just looking at the beautiful work from others :)

What a fabulous collection Brenda!! I don't "get" Steampunk and what it involves but I think you have managed a great job with the winged rose!! My favourite is actually that lovely cottage. There was a crooked man, is now on repeat in my head!! Hope you are bearing up in this opressive heat, it looks like it is going to break before the weekend. We have 200+ bales to be delivered and stacked so would like it a little cooler for that as it's not my favourite job!! Instead of sequins and glitter I will be finding hay in unusual places!! xx

I really love the mixed media feel to the first two cards and am crazy over the hexagon/poppy combination. The softer, more feminine cards are also extremely beautiful. Always such a plethora of inspiration here, thank you!

Very creative works, Brenda! I love that kraft frame!

Oh my! What a stunning array of beautiful cards. I agree with Greta, the kraft frame is gorgeous! I must use kraft card more. Take care xxx

So many gorgeous creations here Brenda, I adore them all, can't really pick a favourite but just maybe the steampunk rosebud might just have an edge for me.
Happy crafting
