For a Lady at Allsorts

Morning, time for a new challenge at Allsorts, this week I am your host and my theme is 'Feminine/For a Lady'. This is the first of three two week challenges to take us over the holiday period. Pearlywinks are our sponsor with a £15 store voucher and there is a second prize of three craft stencils.

It was a toss up between Fairies and Flowers but the latter won the day and starting with the above I used Chocolate Baroque Briar Rose Butterfly stamped onto a stencilled background placed into a die cut Tattered Lace frame.

A very similar design using a frame and stencilled background with the lovely Carnation from Ruth Hamilton Design and a sentiment from my Life is So much Better inspirational quote stamp set. My Christmas ones, which are a mixture of traditional with a bit of humour, are currently being produced for release in the August TV shows on the Craft Store.

Hope you all have a good weekend and as always many thanks for your visits and words of encouragement.

These are beautiful cards, Brenda. I love the flowers and butterflies on the top one and am so proud of how you've used my Carnations image on the second card! Your sentiment stamps are beautiful! I'm so happy for you that there's another set in the making!
Have a lovely weekend :) Ruth xx

Your first card is so very pretty with the lovely background a touch of shimmer and framed using one of my fave go to TL dies.
Your second card is also lovely with those wonderful carnations and a great sentiment.

I haven't been here for so long...life really comes in the way if you are busy while you want to spent some time in blogland....
Have seen all your makes and enjoyed them! You still make such great colourcombies and you know most of your used stamps would be (or are) a perfect fit in my collection :)
Hope you are allright and able to enjoy the beautiful weather and your family! Sending sunny hugs!

Well, HOW LOVELY, Miss Brenda! That delicate pink scallop frame is so dainty and perfect for the fluttering pollinators and glittering flowers! Your stenciled background gives that feel of more movement or more posies, even, behind it all. Carnations don't grow in our area, and I dearly love them for their long-lasting beauty. Such loveliness with the stenciled background! Wishing for you great days! hugs, de

2 beautiful cards and believe it or not I have a favourite which is the first one. The colouring is so soft it embraces the Feminine (For a Lady) theme perfectly. xoxo
